So how long till people start talking about there being a legit gap between Cooper Kupp and the rest of the WRs in the league? Like ya Im a massive homer about JJ and it wasnt probably even a couple weeks ago while I myself was on here talking about how JJ is the best WR in the game.

But the gap between Kupp and everyone else is legit huge. Ya he isnt the fastest or biggest, but legit no defense can cover him. I think he ends up as the leader in 2 of the 3 categories for the triple crown this year. There is no DB or defense in general that has figured out how to cover him. And its beyond just offensive scheme or Stafford just favoring him as a target, the dude is legit open 15+ times a game, its ridiculous.

Getting “open” has been recently studied extensively. It’s a skill that separates players like Gabe Davis (can’t get open) to Cooper Kupp. It’s a trait that can’t be measured.
