Not true.
Well see in the Playoffs. This is the last chance i give him to be truly dominant when it matters. If not, ii rather trade him for 5 picks + prospects type of package while i can and start to rebuild strong.
I rather pull an AD like trade just like NO did than keep trying to win with a player who isnt realiable phisically and mentally to be a #1.
Hope Jojo proves me wrong, i always loved his game and potential but he has never put it all together when it matters the most. This is the last season we should wait for it. Hes not a kid anymore and given his injury profile hes going to decline faster than the average player.
Some people just want to see the world burn.

Scoring 59 against a team built to be in the lottery wont change my opinion.
Kyrie scored 60 against the Magic last season. It isnt that big of a deal.
I been one of Jojo biggests fans here. Always sayed to build around him and get Ben outta here.
Im just starting to realize hes never going to be reliable enough phisically and mentally to be our #1 and lead us to a championship. To me its championship or bust.
Im have not seen anything this season that tells me he has taken the next step. He dissaparead against Boston in opening night and he still has "multiple injuries" as always. This is the last shot to prove he can be that player. He has to be dominant in the Playoffs or im moving on with a haul of assets while we can.

By your own criteria, no one outside of Steph, LeBron, and Giannis has shown they're a #1 who can lead a team to a championship. And even Giannis doesn't look like that all the time. Pretty much every other superstar has come up small at times in the playoffs, and most of them have better situations around them than Embiid has. The fact that none of them had to deal with Ben Simmons as their #2 is proof enough of that.
You're getting clowned on because you don't trade superstars if you're looking to win. Superstars, especially those in their prime, pretty much never get equal value back in a trade. And even if you count all the future equity you might get back via picks, they don't help you win a title now or in the immediate future. Not to mention that if you trade him to a competent organization with a decent coach and a few legit 3&D players (aka not Tobi), we'll probably have to watch him absolutely tear up the league en route to playoff success he never had while here.

It sort of the Dunning-Kruger effect NBA casuals are convinced that Embiid is so much worse than his boxscore stats.
It reminds me way back when before Deandre completely fell off that I got into with it with a LAC who was convinced Deandre was better than Shaq. His TS was better. His WS/48 was better (since been adjusted and fixed)

Giannis doesn't look like that? Lol, last year they lost, but he was sensationtal. Giannis is on another dimension as a player. He has really figured it out. His mindset is miles better than Embiid, and he's also reliable phisically.
I'm not even asking Embiid to win the championship, im asking him to show he's a championship calibeer #1. The reality of the situation is he always have some injury bothering him when it matters the most, and/or he dissapears when things get really difficult or the pressure is high, showing terrible bad language, bad decision making and no leadership at all.
If he was a 23/24/25 years old i could understand he was learning to win. Every Superstar does. But now the patience is little to none. It's time to prove he can do it.
Also, given his injury history, hes probably going to decline in his early 30's. Im just saying trading its starting to be not that crazy of an idea. Speacily if the team is flawed, stuck in the treadmil and with no assets to improve.

Agree.
Everyone here wants to win the championship. And winning a championship needs an honest evaluation of Embiid.
What you dont want to happen is putting Embiid over the team and thinking that winning a championship either requires embiid or requires revolving the team around Embiid
Winning a championship requires the right shade of Embiid to the overall picture.

Honest evaluation, the team around Embiid sucks, the end.
