Sims is a such a damn freak. Zion like athlete. My only gripe with him is he doesnt seem to be a great rim protector, but he looks to be better on the perimeter than Mitch and Hart. Not sure how much potential he has, but hes a steal for the 58th pick and is an NBA player I know that.

So he said what a lot of us have been saying for a long time. The team has been doing just that this season with the exception of Evan getting too many minutes and Obi not getting enough. Randle is still fairly young but, he just sucks.

Get rid of Evan/Randle and we are good.

He's fine. He'd form a decent C tandem with Randle. Or Mitch can form a C tandem with Randle. The other two guys should then go away.

Of course, someone in the Knicks FO thought it would be a good idea to carry 3 C's, two of whom do the exact same thing.

While completely ignoring that Randle's best role is a mismatch 5.

Yeah Sims and Obi both need to stay on their feet more on D. That will hopefully come in time. What can I say though, they have so much energy and enjoy jumping lol.

People just assume Sims is a good rim protector, but he doesnt lock down the paint like Mitch can. However Sims has great potential as a strong athletic switchable big. Doubt he ever develops much offense, but hes not far off from being real nice on D and the boards.

They’re playing how people thought they would when they were drafted top 10. Obi has now shot lights out for 2.5 months straight dating back to last season. His J is fast and fluid. While Cam has acclimated into the starting spot, and isnt pressing anymore now that he knows he’s going to play more than 15 mpg. Funny how that works huh.

Hope RJ and/or Grimes can join them. Ill give RJ a pass these last couple since hes sick, and they better just be being careful with Grimes because I want to see the dude out there asap.

Brunson may always be a liability on defense, but if he plays like this on offense it will be okay. Guy is a killer and very entertaining with those hesis and middies.

Hart has not taken advantage of Mitch being hurt unfortunately with all his foul trouble. Ive been a little let down by him in general. His jumper hasnt been there and his defense seems meh, but its still real early.

Obi played great, along with Cam, Brunson, IQ..even Sims.

Unfortunately, as long as Thibs/Randle are here is hard to see Obi getting much more then 20mpg. Obi deserves better

I don't think I have ever felt more hopeless or less confident in a regime or franchise.

You have flat out franchise alterers in the draft but we choose to be middle of the pack with a mid team with no high end talent.

It's supper frustrating that whatever makes the most sense this franchise never does.

Like the logic to play for a playin game is so backwards. We block promising young players and we then call certain players untouchable that can't even crack our rotation.

It's as hopeless as it's ever been.

I do not know why we play Hart instead of a Randle/Obi combo. Especially when the opposing team does not play big.

Hart does not give us rim protection. He shoots poorly from range. He fouls too much setting screens. We already have a lot of playmakers (at least on his level).

Stop lumping then together. RJ is nowhere near as bad as Julius when it comes to team ball. He may have struggles but, he is nowhere near the slob that Randle is. I am worried that contract may be bad in the long run. Right now is too soon to say. He started to play better after the bad 3pt numbers this season but, that was really his only issue most of these games. Randle is just trash with no hope for the future.

RJ just told the fans of MSG or Twitter or here to f*ck off and stop being so enthusiastic after wins and horrible after losses. His transformation is complete. He is now like Randle in nearly every way. Just needs an irritating family to complete the scene.

I saw the quote and that's BS. He didn't pull a Randle and tell fans to STFU or give them a thumbs down. He just told the truth. When the team wins players get praised and when they lose everything's sucks. Is he lying? Not in the slightest. Read the room!

I would love to see the whole exchange though. I would imagine someone asked what the fans were like and he said this. He's being honest and speaking 200% truth. Not at all what Randle did.

Dolan wants to sell playoff tickets and go up on ticket prices in general based on a playoff appearance(s). He could do it without those things but he can only do so much with the Nets in Brooklyn. If you remember that everything this team does makes sense. Mid tier is good enough if they can increase ticket prices. The playing game might be enough to go up too.

That’s why even last year when they should have tanked they/were struggling to try and sneak into the play in. That’s all Dolan wants in addition to no one calling him out when the team loses.

If there was ever a time to let Obi cook this would have been the time. He was on pace for a near triple double. Guess either Randle needs to be traded or Thibs has to go, or hopefully both....but most likely neither and we are stuck.

Thibs ran a 9 man rotation yesterday. I think it improved our performance. It gives more time to players to heat up and enter the game. It could be a tendency to forget the 10-11 man rotation we were playing.

I hope Cam can string these games together, the talent is just so apparent.

He’s been fantastic and I love how he’s found his way. He’s not pressing and hunting shots, attacking the rim aggressively and he’s been knocking down the 3s too. Love what Im seeing from him, so much better than Fournier.

Now we need to replace Randle with Obi and we will see improvements and would be more entertaining to watch

He's still pretty young. Maybe he's a late bloomer. I love what I'm seeing.

How is Obi more entertaining g to watch? He doesn't do anything but leak out and shoot wide open 3s.
