Yeah I think when he eventually makes a public statement, he will attribute some of his troubles to substance abuse. Seemed like his baby mama pointed that out as a problem in her IG video as well.

Re: Felony Charges: The Miles Bridges Thread
One executive familiar with the Hornets' thinking believes the 24-year-old forward is still viewed as a core piece. Because Bridges is also subject to NBA punishment, Charlotte may want to sign him earlier than later, so he can begin a presumptive suspension and get back on the court sooner.

Re: Felony Charges: The Miles Bridges Thread
Its a no brainer to trade off Terry and Gordon, sign Miles and let him serve his suspension, and tank the season and try to get a top 4 draft pick. They are already 3-7 and every team in the East besides Orlando and Detroit looks better, with the top 7 teams looking way, way better than we can hope to be even if Miles and LaMelo come back tomorrow

NBA star Miles Bridges has filed for a restraining order against the woman who accused him of domestic violence ... claiming she's harassed him repeatedly -- and won't stop.

I don’t know that I trust pretty much any of the reports that have come out on this topic. What I wanna know now is what is the Hornets plan?

Wouldn't she be violating her own restraining order she filed against him?

Maybe Miles will run out of the tunnel WWE-style halfway through the 4th quarter to finish an alley-oop as Eric Collins roars "Wait a minute, that's Miles Bridges! What's he doing here'?
Probably not though.
I'd bet the front office is in contact with his agent and they're sorting through it with the league office. I agree there's good reason to believe something is happening behind the scenes.

I dont think they have much of a choice but bring him back because if they didnt another team would, You think the Lakers care about his legal issues? It wild how differently his has been handle from Josh Primo

I don’t know about the US, but in Aus restraining orders only prohibit the restrained person, the protected person can do what they want.
It’s pretty dumb.

Not sure SAS has any high ground in the Primo situation if the facts from that former doctor are true. She says she's been telling about the issue for a long time and they just ignored her and still picked up his option, until they totally changed course when she informed them that she was moving forward with the suit and they couldn't keep it in house any more.

Re: Felony Charges: The Miles Bridges Thread
Now that settlements and agreements have been reached, Charlotte needs to hurry up and make their intentions known.
If they're legitimately trying to bring him back, they need to hurry up and make it happen so the league can decide/impose potential punishment and get that process moving.

Hurrying up and making a decision goes against everything the Charlotte Hornets' front office stands for.
When I die, have Michael Jordan bury me so he can let me down one last time.

At this point he probably sprained his ankle standing up at trial.
