I actually feel for KD in this to a degree. Guy is in the tail end of his prime and throughout all the BS that has happened in BRK, he's been turning up and carrying that team. He knows they can't win with the dross they're putting out on the floor. So in this regard I get his frustration. He's busting his ass on a rat ass team watching a year of his dwindling prime fade away.

But on the flipside, he willingly put himself in this situation so it's hard to feel that sorry for him. Guy could've stayed in GSW collecting rings and Finals MVPs but chose this path.

I thought the heat KD took for going to GS was hypocritical. So much 'championships are all that matters, and athletes should do anything to win them' stuff out there and KD does what gives him the best shot at winning a ring and everyone is like 'not like that'. The guy played out 2 contracts in OKC I had no issue with him choosing a new team.

Now KD feeling sad because GS fans loved Steph more, that I don't feel bad about. That should have been obvious coming in.

The Brooklyn mess is something he's had a big hand in so no sympathy there.

KD's a **** clown and I can't roll my eyes hard enough every time Bill Simmons or Zach Lowe refer to him as a "Top-15 player ever". Nah dawg, that ship has sailed. Being a garbage teammate and toxic presence to whatever organization you play for absolutely diminishes the talent you bring to the table and negatively affects your team's chances of winning championships. Same reason why I criticize Lebron's mercenary selfishness & roster meddling (although he's nowhere near as bad as KD) and dock him points in all these manufactured GOAT debates. Love watching Kevin play basketball but it would be such a damn chore to ever root for him as a person.
