Yes, of course he should never say this publicly. That's obviously a mistake and he deserves to get bashed for it. But, he is 100% right in what he said. However, he doesn't take the ownership that this crap roster is largely his fault/responsibility. He made a horrible decision to team with a headcase like Kyrie when he knew he only had 5ish left as true elite elite player, that's on him. He should've just sat in GSW and racked up rings while putting his finger up to the haters.

And yea I know best all time list player debates come mostly down to resume/accomplishments so when it comes down to it he's likely not gonna crack top 10 (barring somehow being the lead on another title or two team, which seems unlikely), so he'll hover wherever in the teens. But, there's no doubt in my mind if constructing a team to play for my life or like the survival of the world, he's likely going to make the cut as a top 5, or at the least be in the close cut conversation. Would be tough to not take the most physically gifted scorer ever, on a super team like that there would be 4 other mentally strong/leader types where he can just be the assassin. I guess not unlike what happened in GSW.

It was even worse, Simmons called him top 10, not top 15. And he said it with no hesitation at all, as if it was just a lock. He also mentioned specifically that he had him above Shaq and Hakeem lol. Like Hakeem is less egregious (still totally disagree) but having him above Shaq is legit comical.

Not to mention that HIS decisions and playing God in the front office are the primary reasons the team has been gutted. He's in an environment that he had a large part in creating and the fact that he can't accept it and remain accountable is just another chapter in the saga.

Normally I'm a believer in the Raylan GIvens as*hole theory, but he was a teammate of Westbrook and Draymond. That would get old quick.

He is still young enough to fit their timeline but the question is whether or not he wants to stay and continue to play with crap until they get their act together. All signs are that he is pro the 'process' but unless they can get Wemby, idk.

And we're playing without Midds, Jrue, Allen & PatC and we just stomped a Cavs team that has beat BOS twice this season.

Brown shot well, and tatum chucking isn't new. It's a regular season anomaly where they had three bench players go off and be super efficient.
