I like the way you think.

Would we even have the pick? Don't we not have a pick for like the next 20 years? Lottery protection?

At least we got some Jovic spiciness tonight.

It was pretty close at the half I think 25/21 ... but then we caved in.

Yeah we played Jovic and in the second half Spo thought we would win his way by putting Martin at Center

If we’re going to tank we should be looking to blow it up even further, which I don’t think we’d do. I’m talking about trade Jimmy/Bam/Herro for draft capital or younger disgruntled players. I can’t see tanking with Jimmy in the team unless he gets injured

Something is up with Jimmy. This is not the first game He has played with no fire or passion. If it wasn’t for Bam blowing last game we lose that game. It’s funny we all think we can poach a star player when we might be on the cusp of one forcing a trade out of here. Something is up for sure.

I went from enjoying this game watching Jovic play back to full depression watching Spo go full Spotard with that closing lineup.

I don't understand the thinking here.

Fact 1: Jovic is a defensive liability and is not in the right spots defensively
Fact 2: He is tall and can rebound
Fact 3: We are getting decimated on the boards which is leading to defensive breakdowns and 2nd chance points

Take your chance on the defensive end and put some height in.

exactly we weren't blowing them out of the water with him, but we held the lead and he provided passing/spacing/size.

Can you really blame Jimmy on a night like tonight when he’s essentially playing Center? This roster construction and the lack of size to rebound is being widely noticed. Our announcers keep pointing it out right now. Where is the accountability? I was told players would complain about Jovic missing defensive assignments when the players are under so much stress playing so small.

I wouldn't blame him at this point. We are not a championship team and the front office has bee making bad contractual decisions for years. This all started whe Bosh retired and we gave Whiteside, Waiters, etc...whatever they wanted. Seems like we've been recovering from that for years. The guy deserves a title.

Sadly they wont do it and we will be stuck as a middle of the pack team for years on end.

I mean, I wanted to tank for Luka, but you know, we had to see what Dion Waiters had to offer. I've given up on that dream.

He never does for a regular season, which keeps him out of superstar convos. Maybe his game is too hard on him physically, but it's not a good omen going into the later years of his contract.

Spo would have benched Luka for two years minimum until he learned how to play defense his way lol

Referees in the 4th lol
Dedmon was the recipient of a flying kick that took him out of the game, and got call for the phantom foul lol. The rest was just practice whistles vs the Heat for these refs.
No size has become a serious issue for this team.

We got Wade by sucking and drafting high, then we got our first championship because we had a number one option in the team and the organization getting the right pieces to complement that number one option, then we got the other championships by getting two other number one options because we still had that generational player who made it possible to bring the other two. After that it has been failure after failure, every year gets worse. Lets get it over with and start the right way from zero, we didnt have crap before Wade got here.

Maybe it's time to trade a lot of picks for a 4 or stretch 5 if we care about Jimmy and Lowry's timeline
