TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Washington Wizards have agreed to trade Bol Bol to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a 2023 2nd round draft pick (From New York) and a 2024 2nd round draft pick (From Denver).

The Toronto Raptors have agreed to trade Kelly Oubre to the New York Knicks in exchange for Bol Bol.

The New York Knicks have agreed to trade a 2023 2nd round draft pick and a 2024 2nd round draft pick (From Denver) to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Kelly Oubre.

Bol Bol must be doing his thing. :lol:

ANNOUNCEMENT

It is now time for the final aspect of our offseason, the preseason power rankings. As in past years, this is a completely voluntary part of the BaF season. However, the more people that participate, the better this is. Last year, 18 teams submitted rankings, the year before, we had 21 teams submit rankings. If you want to participate, please submit your team rankings 1-29 (don't rank your own team) with a very short comment about each team. Comments will be anonymous if they are used with the rankings. Last years power rankings can be found in the link below. If you do not submit a ranking, then your team and the comments about your team will not be posted. Teams can submit rankings via PM up until next Friday night, 11/25 and the rankings will be posted that weekend.

The 2022-23 BaF season will more than likely begin the following week, the week of 11/28. Wolverine Studios released their initial version of the sim on 10/25 and have since had three updates to fix initial bugs. Last year, it took WS about three weeks after the Beta build was up before the ready to play version of the game was ready for us to begin our season. Opening night last season was 12/8. We are probably about a week ahead of that date based on the timeline that WS has had in previous years. I have finally updated all transactions I have in my inbox, just waiting on one confirmation for one final move.

We are probably about two weeks from opening night...it has been a long offseason and I know I have not been online as much as usual as I adjust to my new job. However, the season is now right around the corner. As soon as I get an official opening night set, I will post additional instructions and let teams submit rotations and minutes.

Not “major”, but I think Huerter to Denver is immediately impactful

Forgot about this tbh. Yeah there's definitely enough changes for me to update my power rankings. Hell just things like Curry's start to the season justifies me redoing my power rankings now that I think about it.

I been sleeping on the job since I won't be able to do much of anything until the trade deadline lol.

Looking at the numbers from early this season...

Curry and Zion will be absolutely insane scorers next year in the sim. Way better than expected.
