Not the biggest fan of Jae at this point, but he’s certainly going to be a guy with an edge and who can reasonably defend multiple positions. Also if it’s Grayson that just opens up minutes for Marjon and I’m all for that

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

He demanded a trade before the season started and I don't think he has even been with the team at all.

Has a reason been put out there?

It's been a little cryptic but he seemed to get mad when his name was in some trade rumors this summer and he wanted a contact extension they weren't willing to give him. Was also reported he was mad that Cam Johnson was going to start but Jae has denied this.

We don't need Jae Crowder. I hope it's not us.

They're a year older, they're coasting after the championship, green and Poole hate eachother, they're just in a rough patch, etc
Yeah I think they'll eventually deal one of their young guys for some vet depth and that will help a ton.

But I do think the national media should probably pump the brakes on the idea that Poole, Wiseman, Kiminga, Moody were going to be some next generation juggernaut.

Signing an old scrub like Jae to a long term contract would be a major blunder

IMO, it would be more appealing to trade Allen and clear the 9m off next year books. I'm more concerned than others that we cant afford Midds (if he signs the max) and BroLos contracts.

Not into Allen for Crowder, but then I'm higher on Allen and lower on Crowder than most. Also Crowder is a **** knob.

I just can't imagine any team handing Crowder an extension sight unseen right now so i'm really not worried about that part of it.

Also, *looks around nervously*, I think Crowder's playoff performance has been overrated by some just because he played well against us.

I feel like everyone has a pretty good understanding that Crowder isn't some incredible player but he is probably a playable playoff rotation player against our premium competitors whereas Grayson probably is not.

This is pretty much it for me. Grayson has had ample opportunity to showcase his skillet this season with so many players out and he hasn't done a damn thing.

Kawhi was upgraded to Kawestionable for their game tonight.

That is all.

He was brought in to be a floor spacer and is 43% from 3 this season.

I could get behind this. Maybe. But isn't he just a slightly poorer man's version of Bobby?

He's primarily been used as a 4 and small ball 5 but he's got the foot speed to guard some wing players.

Better defensive upside (more switchable, better rim-protector), but worse offensive player than Bobby. Would think Charlotte would want a protected-1st or something for him though. Don't see them just dumping him for salary filler and 2nd's.
