Dallas isn't -14 net without Luka in the lineup, it's not even remotely close.

GSW starting unit.

+27 (Looney - apparently GSW best player  ), +24 Curry, +17 Green, +13 Klay, +11 Wiggins.

Mavs starting unit.

-21 McGee, -15 Dinwiddie, -12 DFS, -8 Bullock, +5 Doncic (the only positive player).

:dontknow:

Are you serious with this?

Mavs:
with Luka +4,12/100 in 483 min, w/o +0,6/100 in 199 min
Warriors:
with Steph: +5,88/100 in 285 min, w/o -12,81/100 in 240 min.

Every statistic without context can be interpreted however you like. Just like people throwing out NETrtg and +/- like it's the ONLY be all stat to measure someone's importance on the team. You guys are trying to portray like Doncic has no real impact on Mavs. I just wanted to show you with what kind of personal he has to work with for most of the game. If you didn't at least try to understand what my point is and it doesn't fit your narrative, i guess you can say i have no clue how it works. But then again, results speak for themselves.

Giannis will pick up when his knee is feeling better and he's not playing wing with all our dudes out.

Should be a good race.

I know it's way too early but if the Blazers somehow end up 1st or even 2nd in the West Lillard should get it even if he doesn't have the abnormal stats of other MVPs. It will be great for the league. American star stayed loyal with his mediocre for years team and gets rewarded. I'm sure the media will get behind it if he is close by the end of the season. Obviously Billups should also get the COTY.

The question is: would GS FO swap their supporting cast with Dallas?

Yeah, it's not even an argument that GS has a much better squad than Dallas, even if they have regressed this year.

Today's updated MVP Ladder on NBA.com has it...

1 Luka
2 Tatum
3 Giannis
4 Jokic
5 Morant
6 Embiid
7 SGA
8 Booker
9 Mitchell
10 Steph

Don't look now but Embiid is making a run for MVP. Giannis and Embiid both vying for MVP again faced off. Giannis looked horrific, and those FTs were ungodly. Embiid had some issues to start, and then closed the 4th epically, hitting some insane shots over DPOY candidate Brook Lopez.

Great game!

Giannis looks horrific since his injuries and the games he missed. Something is not right with him(not just physically) the past 2 weeks. His FTs are screwd, his eurostep is slower and weaker he shot under 50% FG in 4 games in a row which is abnormal for him and tonight he had a career bad night at the line with 11 misses.

Look at the MVP ladder. Embiid has many more players to catch not just Giannis.

I’m convinced that Denver will never win a game again where Jokic does not play. Sort of serious.

Yup and he will. He was behind last year too then was the favorite by December/January

I still have Luka at no.1, but Embiid is now no.2, with Giannis at 3, Tatum at 4

Agreed. Steph would be #1 or 2, if they could just have a positive record lol.

Mostly, it tells you that the Mavs bench is better than the Warriors bench, which has nothing to do with Luka or Steph

You have to be one of the worst player stans I have ever seen on here, it's embarrassing. Feels like arguing with you is talking about something dumb and just getting beaten by experience. It's not the only stat, but it's the main viable one that shows how a team does when a player is off the court. You can ignore it or look at something else because you don't like the results, just make sure you do it in a Mavs echo chamber so you can have everyone agree with your nonsense there.
