Been hearing the same that AD is cooked.
Sean's competence taking hit big time. He failed to understand what this team ceiling was. Instead he doubled down on his mistake and seeing how big of a mistake it was/is.
Kyrie was fetching Russ expiring contract and two unprotected first round picks from Lakers, they guaranteed to be lottery bound. We going to lose Seth for nothing like we lost Dre too.
KD for JB and trash was as good as it gets. Now you have nothing and won't get anything better since Langdon and Masai just not stupid enough as Brad.
Nothing to be exited about right now, and it won't change anytime soon.
You make a questionable assumption that Sean failed to understand the ceiling. When you make deals/decisions of that magnitude, the owner has to sign off on it. Given Tsai has burned through CEOs unable to fulfill his unrealistic goals of billion dollar per year revenues in the future & $500mil per year revenue within a couple years, it's unlikely he'd sign off on a rebuild that would torpedo those short term revenue goals. To his credit, Marks has lined up all contracts to expire by the 2024 offseason, with the exception of KD & Simmons. If we deal KD, don't be surprised if the majority returning salary similarly expires by 2024. I believe he knows a rebuild needs to happen, and he's willing to hit the reset button as soon as Tsai will allow it.
Already saying that he failed at his most important job description. If he can't do that, than he has no business being GM.
Since when Joe Tsai became a GM? Ok than.
