At this point I don't super blame the local guys. I doubt they aren't asking, it's just apparent that our FO doesn't talk about what they're doing.

Bobby Marks just tweeted this:

Not sure if there is any official way to know that this happened, or if he's just assuming based on the lack of reporting on us negotiating an extended deadline.

I think it's less about the fact that our front office doesn't talk, and more about the fact that no one gives a s*** about this team. Trust me, if we were the Lakers and we had the same front office our news would be all over the place 24/7.

His form is somehow worse than MKG's.

Nah I'd take Plumlees form over MKGs right arm bending at a perpendicular angle or whatever he had going on. Plumlees drift to the right is hilarious though

Plum really needed to be dealt…hope, somehow, a team desperate with center injury issues will deal for him soon.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

He’s still our best centre currently, he ain’t getting traded without an upgrade becoming available

Extending Plumlee would be downright cruel and would further convince me this franchise hates their fanbase.

I get that Mason has actually had a pretty damn solid year all things considering, but giving him an extension with Richards breaking out and with Mark would make absolutely zero sense.

Like, none.

Plumlee has been playing fine. Its not his fault the teams priorities are out of whack. Clifford should be fired (never should have been hired). This is probably what the front office wants, though, so I don't think thats in the cards.

Right, like kudos to Mason for not being as awful as he was last year. Clifford has at least turned him into a semi-respectable backup center again. Resigning him after spending four picks in three straight drafts on centers would be tough to swallow.

The thing we're all afraid of:

If there’s one thing I know about owner Michael Jordan, GM Mitch Kupchak and head coach Steve Clifford they’re not going to start another rebuild and spoon-feed young players playing time. I struggle to see a world where they go into the 22-23 season with the current assortment of young guys as their only center options when they have playoff aspirations.

Thankfully Richards will be 25 in 11 days.

Keep showcasing Mason, a playoff team will toss us some seconds or a young player to shore up their center rotation sooner or later. Boston, Brookyln, Toronto etc might be in need now. More teams will open up as well once injuries continue to pile up.

In another 2 months we will have a center rotation of Nick, Mark and Kai. Just need to hold on a little longer.

I've been telling myself this as well, deep down I don't believe it though.

If Biz can play as a reserve center on a playoff team no reason Plumlee can't. Especially since his contract is so team friendly as an expiring that doesn't break the bank.
