Ben Simmons scores a whopping 15 points and the internet is acting like he put up 81. I don't understand how this guy still gets the love that he does.

I think they believed and to some degree probably still do that they could replace Payton and Porter with JaMychal Green and Donte. And Donte's struggled with injuries again and hasn't been very good even when he's played and Green's shooting fell off a cliff last year and thus far last season hasn't proven to be an aberration in that respect. And I think they thought that even if Moody and Kuminga and Wiseman couldn't be playoff contributors yet, they'd still be okay.

I agree with you about Wiseman and I'm still higher on him than what I'm guessing is the median but he's so early in his development and needs to be on a team that will allow him to play through mistakes and so in many ways he's in the worst situation. But trading him now, you'd be lucky if you got 25 cents on the dollar and there are teams that would make that trade because it'll help them win a championship this season, I don't think the Warriors are one of those teams.

We 100% could have won the Championship in 2019 if Bled got to play with the version of Giannis Jrue got to play with. The loss to Toronto was certainly not all on him.

see khris middleton too, think about some awful series hes had in the playoffs.

but for some reason we are roasting grayson allen, a guy who makes 8.5m a year, over a bad series.

Pacers have 6 points with 1:32 left in the 1Q...against Houston.

Edit: they finished with 10. Lowest 1Q that I could quickly find was 7 by BOS in the 2016 playoffs.

Bummer for Detroit. Wonder if they trade Bojan to really lean into the Wemby hunt. (Although they might be bad enough with him)

Will be really interesting if Detroit finished second in the lotto. Scoot, Cade and Ivey can't all coexist so would set up some crazy trade scenarios.

I wonder if they realize that Wiseman's value is about to bottom out and won't recover until he becomes top shelf backup center JaVale McGee a decade from now.
