Klay? You could probably get Russ. Westbrook or Wilson.

ive been trying to find some trades that make sense for the last hour go thru depth charts and rosters and navigating the CBA but don't see anything that makes real sense for us unless Utah is just willing to give a guy like Vandy away.

we just waited too long to act, we'd be selling low on Poole who we can't even trade at this point even if we wanted to, selling low on Minga, and Wiseman value at this point doesn't even exist. even Moses value is shrinking every game b/c of the inconsistent mins and I'm a Moses fan.

Klay is virtually untradeable with that enormous contract until next year at least as an expiring.

just brutal, and the JP contract really gives us 0 room to function moving forward on top of everyone we're already paying.

usually you ask me and I can throw out 10 trades that I'd like to see happen but realistically speaking i don't see anything doable that makes sense for any other team.

only thing I can think of is Minga/Wiseman for Duarte/Jackson but no clue if Indy even takes that.

Ainge wants Wemby. He knows this cute plucky bs they are doing won’t win a chip. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him trade more guys so they can bottom out. Vandy won’t fit their timeline.

Even the worst teams in the league have only a 14% chance (~ 1 in 7) at the #1 pick, and no one is going to trade the #1 pick in that draft so moving up is impossible.

Bad attempt at a joke. The NFL player who shares Russ name and shares the distinction of having an un-tradeable contract.

Obligatory "Hawks officially shopping John Collins" post.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Every year Collins should be traded for Myles Turner to avoid months a trade speculation.

Well if Kerr ever thinks the punch has ruined our team camaraderie.... Dray/Wiseman for Collins/Okongwu is a legal trade.

Dray can work at TNT on off days... Schlenk was a huge draymond guy... Collins/OO solves are bigman depth pretty quickly. Just sayin.

Convince LeBron that Klay will solve the Westrook ills, attach WB to Kuminga for a ton of depth from Utah, save some big money too.

GS
Klay/Kuminga out
Beasley/Olynyk/Vanderbilt in

LAL
Westbrook/Nunn out
Klay/Conley in

Utah
Conley/Beasley/Olynyk/Vanderbilt out
Westbrook/Kuminga/Nunn in

Get them to send JTA back home if possible.

Didn’t spend a bunch of time on value, an thoughts on base?

after season trade Magic trade:

Poole/Kuminga for

Wagner/Harris/Isaac

Harris and Isaac to match Poole's salary

---

thought process: Magic have a huge backlog in the front court and with Paolo manning the 4-hole Wagner will essentially play out of position the rest of way, they so they might be interested in a couple of wings instead.

Minga was in the same class as Wagner and was largely seen as a similar level prospect, and they also get Poole who will give them a lot of scoring from the guard position, and can get rid of the Gary Harris contract in the process.

If the Magic were silly enough to do that, I'd be on board.

Hi, Magic fan here. Just wanna add some Magic player & contract info + my opinion of that proposal (i hope i'm not too biased like many fans in other team's trade sections)
Franz is a natural SF not a PF. Since Bol starts he is even the starting SG. His whole skillset is that of a Wing.
We dont need to get rid of the Harris contract, because next year is only a team option. Isaac only got 7 mio. guaranteed next year.

But in general Franz is our building block, next to Paolo. He probably wont be a 1st option but he is the perfect 2nd or 3rd best player on a good team.
You can make a strong argument that he's the best player of last years class this season. After a slow start, playing out of position (had to bring the ball up / back up PG role because all our PG's were injured) he is now really good again. Last 10 games:
22,2ppg & 5 apg while shooting .532 .429 .891 & TS%.630

Poole was a big option for us before he signed the extension, because we have a lot to spend next season & he fills a need.
Kuminga isnt a option for us because we gonna try to start winning next season. We hopefully got 2 Top 10-12 picks next season already & adding a additional raw player like Kuminga, would certainly not be helpful.

Collins for Kuminga/Wiseman/Moody? As a Hawks fan, Kuminga's the dude I want so what would a Collins for Kuminga deal look like.

Don't really see Collins as a fit on the Warriors.

If Kuminga's the guy you want, fine, but Collins isn't the guy we want. So, I'd look at the deal below.

GS Trade: Kuminga / Wiseman / Poole
Hawks Trade: D Murray / J Johnson

You get a replacement in Poole for Murray, plus Kuminga and Wiseman. We get Murray, and a guy that can play some backup minutes with Draymond's guidance.

Not with Poole's contract I don't think. Not a good fit with Trae.

If Indiana wants to buy into the tankathon, but still have a star:

Indiana Recieve: Klay Thompson & Wiseman

Warriors recieve: Hield & Turner, & TJ McConnell.

Pacers get to tank and have Klay be Klay with a young Center in Wiseman while tanking for Wemby.
