'Andor' is in the same tier as Episode IV and V. It's peak Star Wars content and I honestly don't understand how it's happening after years of absolute garbage shows and movies. I hope Kennedy is paying attention and not letting the lack of engagement affect her funding and decision making. Lots of people were simply turned off by all the bad content they gave us these past few years but slowly word of mouth is spreading about Andor and it's rising in engagement with every episode. I'm just going to pretend the only SW content every created is 'Andor' and the OT. That's my head cannon from now on.

I've been watching a lot of movies from the 70's and 80's lately, many that I had seen when I was a kid/teen. One of the best of the crop is 'Being There' with Peter Sellers and Shirley MacLaine. So great back then, and even better now -- it felt current. Comedy art.

I've never seen it and always wanted to. I added it to one of my streaming services queue, just have to find out which one so I can watch.

'Smile' was a nice surprise. All the best horror movies land the casting and acting and this is no different. No bad acting. Every role played well. No cheap jump scares (there are plenty of jump scares though) and it really delivered the creepy and hopelessness it was striving for. Outstanding cinematography and sound too. I highly recommend it.

I am one of the few who hated it. I loved the trailer and was giddy about the premise. It’s beautifully shot and the hallway scene with Vader is peak Star Wars but the rest was bad and it’s full of plot holes and is often non-sensical which isn’t surprising given how it went through reshoots and Tony Gilroy (Andor creator) rewrote a bunch of scenes. ‘Andor’ being episodic allows them to flesh out these characters whereas ‘Rogue One’ felt rushed and anti-climactic since we knew how the story would end. I’m curious if after ‘Andor’ is over (think there’ll be a season 2) a rewatch will give me more appreciation for it. Did you like it?

Anybody watch 1899 on Netflix?

From people who made Dark. Looks interesting.

The movie Nope is free on Peacock now. I'm excited to check it out.

I get Peacock free via Comcast and never used it much but lately I've found some good original series and new-release movies.

New White Lotus is pretty cool. A bit of a slow start, but it picks up. Only 3 episodes so far.

1899 ending. Wow.

Don't say any more. I watched the first episode and 1/2 of the second, but I was fading and didn't want to miss anything.

I haven't gotten into 1899 yet but I'm stoked. Loved Dark.

Anyone watch Warrior Nun on Netflix? It's not really my thing on paper but it's become a guilty pleasure of mine. Really fun, the plot is solid, good action, and the lead actress Alba Baptista is mucho adorbs.

The English with Emily Blunt on Amazon Prime. Just watch it when you can if you’re into Westerns. Beautifully done. *chef’s kiss*

Enjoyed Warrior Nun. The fight choreo stepped way up this season. Was really impressed. On the negative side, a major character was notably absent this season with virtually no explanation and left a huge void in the show.
