Huge loss for the tank. I know it might be distasteful to say, but they need to get buried in losses as early as possible to force the front office to see the writing on the wall and act accordingly. Anything that encourages them to keep chasing the 10th seed isn't good (theyre only 4 games out of 10th place!). They have a good opportunity to completely change the teams trajectory if they get value out of the Miles situation and hit in the upcoming draft.

Just imagine if the Hornets get a top 3 pick AND the Panthers get a top 3 pick.

And now imagine if they actually hit on them....

We'd win the World Cup.

It seems to be a very particular quirk of combining the minds of MJ and Clifford lol.

I'm pretty much convinced if we were healthy we'd be above .500. We'd probably have 2-3 more wins if Cliff wouldn't have ridged rotations (overplay Plumlee, mostly).

Look at this Wizards team. They're 10-7.

Which is why a "strategic tank" is potentially a huge benefit for us. Which means we won't do it, even if Melo gets his leg amputated and Gordon stubs his big toe...twice.

I haven't hated Plumlee that much this year, he has been solid, but he's definitely a role player that doesn't fit great in Charlottes current system. He'd be good on a team like Lakers with strong physical defensive power forwards like Lebron and Davis. Washington and Plumlee are a little soft.

Although Plumlee did well drawing rebounding fouls down the stretch against Porzingis

Is there any other bad team that gives vets the majority of the minutes vs younger guys? nothing comes to mind

The Lakers, but they don't count IMO. Maybe Chicago & Miami (7-10 and 6-10) but I think that's more of a case of underachieving vs just being bad.

When he's missing he adds nothing to the team.

can we hide Richards for the full season? As a strong centre who can hit free throws is going get paid in the offseason

I think Terry might be our stealth tank commander.

That Kai steal and dunk was awesome. Didn’t care to watch the game but saw it on sportscenter

with 5 mins left in the game, cliff was rocking a dsj, oubre, mcd, kai, plum lineup in a game within 5 pts
i remember getting so frustrated with him in the kemba days because his sub patterns in the 4th would have kemba riding bench until <5 left in game, often too late. its why we started calling him rainman because of how rigid he was with sub patterns.

i remember that tall lineup, i took that as an adjustment by him as they were getting destroyed on the boards, so i guess he's become more flexible
