I get it, without a doubt stud defender. Im definitely not questioning that aspect of his game. I get the idea is hoping he becomes a Jrue/Smart kind of player. But my big question mark with him (this was my big question mark with him in high school), his handle is so basic and nondynamic (especially his left hand). I just question the offensive ceiling in the NBA.

Again dont get me wrong, I definitely think he is a lock for a 1st round pick. Just have a hard time taking a guard top 10 with big offensive question marks (ala Davion Mitchell a couple years back).

Ive seen very little of Wallace, but in his game highlights from this season he looks sort of like a taller Patrick Beverly.

i think if you eval him more as a true PG than a combo guy he looks better, all the sudden his tools go from average to a + and has solid two-way potential, only question does he actually have true lead guard chops or is he a secondary handler type in the NBA only.

though I never viewed him as a top10 or lotto coming in so he's pretty much inline where I've had him, solid 1st rounder but not enough of a ceiling there to crack the lotto for me.

Terrence Shannon is having an absurd season so far, glad he's being unlocked in Illinois, first rounder most likely if this keeps up

Can anyone who's watched Brandon Miller give me some insight into his defense or physical tools? He doesnt seem to pop athletically to me just from highlights but could just be the limited film I've seen.

He's definitely not a noteworthy athlete. He's smooth, though, and he doesn't shy away from contact.

He certainly looks like one. I believe his profile excites teams enough to not let him drop too far. Unless he once again shoots <30% from 3 and only around 70% from the FT line, in which case teams may be concerned enough about his shooting to let him slip to the second round.

Got a chance to watch Jarace Walker and GG.

Intial thoughts, Jarace Walker is a monster. Physically, athletically, decent ball skills to boot. Definitely going top 10, not familiar enough with the rest of the draft yet to say top 5 but there is no way he is out of the top 10.

GG was actually very impressive to me, super young but played tough and good defense, give this guy a few years to develop his body and he could be very good. Lottery pick I imagine.

Arceneaux is a guy.

He had better EYBL stats than a lot of supposed 5 stars.

maybe a weird comp but Jarace reminds me of Isaiah Stewart, but more NBA Stewart after he's developed some ball skills vs college Stewart

that's probably the closest comp i can find for him

Ware has a such a freaky physical profile, insane combination of length/mobility/explosion

They both have wide, nba ready bodies in college. That's the extent of it for me. Jarace is guarding people all over the perimeter and up in their faces and moving with them, super bouncy, athletic, has better ball skills to build on as a freshman.

Guarding people on the perimeter is not the same as guarding people all over the perimeter, being up in their faces and moving with them.

He moves so much better that Beef Stew.

Monster is a good word, because the guy comes to the court ready to play. He's one of the players who interests me most in this draft, early as it may be to evaluate anyone.

Cason Wallace with another impressive performance. Plays so under control and a smart brand of basketball on both ends - simply doesn't play like a frosh and you can tell Cal trusts him completely.

First time watching Anthony Black and woah is he impressive. Not a vintage Louisville team that he's playing against but he has all the looks of an elite prospect.
