Rabiot redemption arc. Actually dramatically improved under Allegri this year, probably the only player to overperform at Juventus.

France plenty of good opportunities and clearly the better team, but Aussies still a sneaky chance for a draw

He is sublime.

France is going to get out of the group unlike Germany and Spain the world cups prior.

Feel for the Aussies, they put up a decent fight and had some chances, but France's overwhelming quality up top, even without Benzema, is too much.

Argentina is the most overrated team in the world

Good team but the champions talk without even playing a game was nonsense, they can loose to everyone, its the WC.

Did they? They were repeatedly getting out sprinted in the wings for those easy crosses, many of which France didn’t finish but they could have scored a couple more in the first half.

Each chance the pressure is heavier and it shows.

Some people compare prime Suarez with prime Lewandowski lol

Only kids who started to watch 3 years ago can believe this

Suarez is the best striker of the last decade

You're underestimating just how much better France's team is than Australia. It's almost the equivalent of a championship contending NBA team playing a G-league team. France have multiple world superstars at every position, Australia only have a few players playing in top leagues. Upsets like the Saudi one earlier are very rare.

It's been a good effort.

It was not because of that. He spotted foul on Jensen, that's why Danes did not get to take a corner and free kick was awarded to Tunisia after review. I am more curious why they did not call or was called to review foul on Hojbjerg in first half, that too me was enough of a push to call it. Having said that Denmark played very poorly and did not deserve to win anyway. Very disappointing result, questionable formation to start the game ( I have not seen Hjulmand play 3-5-2 ever so why experiment in World Cup) and decision to start out of shape Dolberg. No urgency, creativity or aggression, looked like they where just hoping to cash in during one of the corners. They better get their **** together or it will be short World Cup for them. :banghead:

What team can reasonably hang with France? They may not win due to the nature of the tournament but i can't see a more talented team

It is certainly hard to find another nation that has as much pure talent as them, possibly Brazil, Germany and England maybe? Despite the upset Argentina possibly?

The scary thing with France is that they just keep producing world class talent.
