We started the game 0-8. We started the game settling for outside shots like we were in rec league pre-game practice shtos mode.

We missed rotations and left open shots or allowed interior drives.

We are 1-8 from 3.

We finished with some better momentum but once again **** chasing a team.

We're not sick of losing and looking and playing badly. WE are not sick of looking bad. We are not playing with pride.

Keep it simple. Channel Doug on O, channel Romeo and Devin on D.

2ND Q: SPURS 47 PELICANS 66

It's legit upsetting how unprofessional and lacking in pride we are look. Inexcusable.

Pop just put us through a two hour practice because of our piss poor play and our D looks BAD like we've never played together before. Not covering the right players leaving shooter open on the arc again; not getting hands up on shots; three guys watching as an opponents drives through our key for a layup; lack of O movement.

I don't know if Pop was trying the carrot or stick approach but it's going to be time to cut minutes to players who aren't putting in basic effort and fundamentals.

We are pressured on O, true, and we are forcing shots by poor shooters at end of clock. But that's a function of lack of aggression and movement. When we assert ourselves, push the ball, and move it, we actually do score.

After another slow start, we scored 28, but allowed 37 with poor D. It's like the guys didn't get the scouting report, or didn't read it, or got the wrong one.

I don't like the spirig of the team. Keldon is uncharacteristacally muted for too many games in a row, making a lot of mental mistakes. Watch, he'l show some energy in the second half, but once again he started soft and tentative, and it's like when his 3s don't go in as he's cold to start the game then it snowballs badly. If he knows slow, soft starts are an issue, why is he starting slow and soft? Why not drive? Set up others? And his D OOF so SO bad.

Doug has been terrific. Say what you will, but he's a guy whose worked on his bread and butter and looks terrific for us with his movement and scoring.

Jakob uncharacteristically unfundamental decisions on both ends.

Devin looks terrific scoring, setting up shots, running point, responsible D. LOVE HIS GAME. He may well be best two-way player.

We are better at getting to the FT line and making 10-14.

Our 3-16 from 3 hurts again, but FFS the woe is me body language because we're not making our shots is bad.

Only 20 bench points, 13 of which are by Doug.

Only two Spurs have made a 3 - Devin and Doug.

Our starting bigs only have 4 attempts between them, each making 1-2. We need to get them more involved. They need to assert themselves more.

Good rebounding, 13 assists, 5 steals.

Get our heads and hearts in the game.
