We found a back up in Sumner. Let Patty be 3rd string.

Seth and Joe are redundant for all i care. We got Morris and Yuta providing 3's now.

Ben remind me of J.Kidd. Always at the right plays at the right time when it comes to D. This is not coaching, elite talent and instincts.

Vaughn found his answer in Morris. Morris should have been playing more minutes yesterday as well. Yuta/O’Neal/Curry/Morris have sadly become more reliable three point shooters than Harris.

Agreed with both points you made guys. Morris is a big body that was needed and we do need another stretch five.

Finally Kyrie realizes he needs to be aggressive in transition

Notice how teams started to respect Ben's post up game. They actually looking and defending. KD had like 4-5 wide open jumpers out of that. Even though he missed this last one it's a good trend here.

I will be very surprised if Seth agrees to an extension as he didn't want to be traded here in the first place

Should consider trading before we lose him for nothing

Those who just look at the box score will criticize Simmons tonight, but he might be the most impactful player tonight. If not most, a close second after Kyrie went nuclear in the second half.

He will take biggest offer that will be send his way. It won't be us for sure.

Joe ain't worth damn thing right now. Couple years ago teams were offering pick in early teens :noway:

Seth is a rich man's Patty Mills. When we re-signed Patty for 2 years, the writing was on the wall. I still think a big part of it, and a big part of not offering Brown a contract, is that Marks is eyeing someone in 2024 free agency. Only KD and Ben are guaranteed in 2024-2025, and if we trade KD to rebuild before then, it's Ben plus max slots.

I was so frustrated I stopped watching beginning of the 3rd. Came back mid way through the 4th and we were up 20.

What happened lol

I'm done with Joe at this point. Probably Mills too.

Let the young guys play. Duke Jr deserves some PT.

Yuta needs to be starting once he gets back.

It's what he does when playing well (and healthy which he still isn't IMO)

That's why all of his individual accolades were awarded by coaches & players not fans

Joe is one of the best shooters in league history. It's kind of ridiculous that he or Seth can't hit a shot. Even coming off surgery. You expect defense or finishing inside to be shaky. Not the 3 ball. Very strange. I kind of feel like the team needs to rest him for a few days. He'll bounce back.

I'm still not sure what to make of this team. Yesterday was beyond embarrassing. The energy with Kyrie doesn't feel right. The rebounding is so bad it doesn't even make sense. Our starters aren't that strong but we actually have a huge lineup.

Ben playing like this changes everything though. He's legitimately playing great basketball. All star stuff. And he's getting KD + Kai a bunch of easy buckets. With this, it feels like we're legitimately just one decent center away.

We won vs. a badly-depleted team? I'm surprised!

Now this is how we suppose to play every single night ! minus all the turnovers, we need to clean that up quickly. That was classic Kyrie out there, such a joy to watch when he's playing like that. O'neale is knocking down shots and So was Morris. We might have to give Morris Joe's minutes because he's not giving us anything out there.

We clamped down on them in the 2nd half our defense looked great. We have to keep playing hot potato with the ball because this is how Ben and Claxton will be able to stay on the floor together and I think they can make it work. We can always do iso ball with Kyrie and KD when need be but we need to get everybody involved. Can't wait to Yuta get back and Warren comes along.

Yea it is weird Joe can't make shots, at least Seph can make a long range 2 or a shot off the dribble but Joe isn't giving us anything. He use to be real good taking the ball to the rim. I think it's a mental thing with Joe now and I agree with u, the team should rest him especially now with Morris playing well.

I think we're trending in the right direction, thank goodness that Ben Simmons came back and Kyrie looked like vintage Kyrie tonight. I wouldn't put too much thought into the Philly game loss, those guys we're just making every 3 pt shot it was sooo annoying because we all know they won't shoot like that on most nights. But that happens in the NBA, it's a long season and these bench guys are trying their hardest to get some shine, they just made all their 3s and the balls were bouncing the right way for them that night.

With Ben playing at this level I can see us going on a crazy run especially if we play like we did tonight, we just need to clean up all those turnovers. More chemistry should help with that though.
