Canada is wasting my time; USA would have scored multiple times if they get that many chances

A couple of guys coming on the football board and crying because their poor national team couldn't beat a poor Welsh team and then they report me. If they can't take the loss and the truth then they should go back to wherever their whining is allowed.

I'd rather be banned than not be allowed to reply to such wimpiness.

Canada is just not ready for big leagues. Look at their free throw ins or free kicks or finishing, looks very childish. Belgium is just old and slow.

There's nothing wrong with fair criticisms of teams, but you did go a little over the top, especially considering there are a lot of USA fans here and emotions tend to run high during a World Cup. I'm just trying to avoid a tedious pages long back-and-forth, that's all.

You're allowed to respond, but telling people to straight up leave isn't helpful and I'd rather avoid the inevitable fallout of that. You know that we have more rope here on this board compared to the NBA boards, because banter is a big part of the culture of this sport, but straight up trolling teams over multiple posts isn't really something I want to see either.

Trossard is going to be a free agent in the summer, whoever picks him up will be very happy.

He's a good player, having a solid season for Brighton.

As I type that he ran the ball out of play.

Why didn’t Belgium sub on Doku, he would’ve been perfect to have on so you can hit Canada on the break when they commit players forward.

I really think Canada were unlucky to lose this match. Ran Belgium ragged at times and created so many chances, but you have to be clinical in front of goal and they just weren't.

I doubt Morocco or Croatia will play such a high line against them.

SO many chances for a chance to score for Canada, but good set ups were without actual shots on goal. Wouldn't have chosen Davies for the PK who didn't have a great striking game, but few did.

Great pace, pushing the initiative, some terrific defensive tackles, lots of good to take into the next game. Kept competing. Fun style to watch.

Canada needed to make better subs and get fresher legs. They were right there and I expected more from Belgium

The PK has like an overall 85 to 95 percent success rate, and even with a world class goalie, Canada should have gotten the goal and gotten a point with a tie but alas, it didn’t happen.

Not sure if Freedom of speech will allow me to comment on the upcoming group game between the World's self proclaimed leaders of the free world and a small island off the north western coast of Europe. I'm expecting a big upset where the small backward nation beats the almighty ones 17 - 3. Only a day to go. ;-)

If I was american I'd have to report you for that.

Too many of you guys really don't understand the football mentality where the opposition is fair game. The Brits would never hear the end of it if we lost to the Almighty States. If you want to play the game then you've got to take the heat.

I've been hearing for years how great the USA now are with their superstars playing in the big leagues, lead by the goat Pulisic. Yet "y'all" can't take a little friendly ribbing from rival fans of a team in your pool.

Nice to see that you've crept out of the woodwork again after all these years Rasho, seem to remember you always did talk some tosh.

Well, that went almost exactly as I predicted.
Very good performance by Canada, but a little naive at times, which ultimately cost them the game.
Probably the nerves at decisive moments.

Belgium as expected vulnerable at the back, especially in the first half. Could've conceded a second pen, but it would've been a soft one. Don't know what Martinez was trying by playing Tielemans out of position. Batshuayi was on an island with als most nobody around him. Very very strange tactics. World class long ball by Alderweirld and finish by Michy though. Experience came into play that moment. The second half was much better, but the counter attacks were abysmal. Should've created more chances in that order. Also should've been a red for the Canadian player after his two footed tackle from behind on Openda.

To answer some questions from you guys:
Martinez played Faes (Leicester), Theate (Rennes) and Debast (Anderlecht) a max of three times, but never together. Everybody in Belgium knows he should've been trying new, young players though. It's a big criticism Martinez gets.

After a promising start Cameroon go 1-0 down to a well worked goal from the Swiss
