Korea with the bigger possession in the beginning but Uruguay missed some chances.

Not liking how we're on the back, gotta get the ball away from Korea n create opportunities.

Let's go!

Shakiri is just awesome. Swiss should have scored at least 2 more goals on his passes

Interesting line-up for Portugal. Very attacking. Ruben Neves as the deepest lying midfielder. Usually Santos likes a holding midfielder like William Carvalho in there. Should make the game nice and open

Portugal has one big weakness: Ronaldo. I feel bad for his teammates. They have a great team. I would argue they have the most talented team at this World Cup, but Ronaldo kills this team.

I had similar hopes, but so far the game has been bitty. Not much quality yet.

that was not a foul on Ronaldo; Ronaldo is robbed of a goal IMO

It was a little soft and the defender was definitely looking for it, but I think I'd be annoyed if that goal was given against my team. It's on the edge, imo.

Much better from Ghana, they have altered their shape and they are starting to get forward a bit more.

They ball kept breaking down in their final phase of attack, too many of their players taking extra touches and not enough players getting forward to help the front 2.

Lucky from Seidu, even though Felix was asking for it.

I’m not sure that’s a penalty that’s a bit soft for me.

Lotta difficult calls for the ref to make this game. Seemed like a pk would be the only way either team score

Look at you, having a little hissy fit.

If I was american I'd have to report you for that.

Too many of you guys really don't understand the football mentality where the opposition is fair game. The Brits would never hear the end of it if we lost to the Almighty States. If you want to play the game then you've got to take the heat.

I've been hearing for years how great the USA now are with their superstars playing in the big leagues, lead by the goat Pulisic. Yet "y'all" can't take a little friendly ribbing from rival fans of a team in your pool.

Nice to see that you've crept out of the woodwork again after all these years Rasho, seem to remember you always did talk some tosh.

I am still on leave for reasons.

The US should be realistic, they aren’t really a team. They have a mix of talented guys. They have not shown that they are at the top of group of teams. You just need to go to the Copa America and see the difference in class between concacaf teams and other teams in the world. Mexico despite being in the group of death several times has always made it out of group but can never reach the 5th game. Hell the best any concacaf team has done was Costa Rica in 2014 in recent memory. As an aggregate the concacaf teams are very overrated. Chile who is just amazing, would likely beat each of the concacaf teams represented. Tiny Uruguay killed Mexico , Colombia did as well.

That’s harsh on Ghana, that’s never a penalty. Portugal have been going down easy for most of these challenges and the ref finally fell for it.

Scoring in five different World Cups is a pretty ridiculous achievement.

Which was softer, the foul called on Ronaldo or the pk given?

PK given in my opinion.
