2ND Q: SPURS 41 LAKERS 59
We can't score. Poor overall at 16-44 for just over 36% and even worse from 3 at 2-15. It's a bad snakbitten stretch which puts all the more pressure on our D which is better but that's not the end you put points up to reward yourself.
You know it's bad when Keldon and Romeo have the same amount of points - 3! - on near identical efficiency. Also, Romeo has taken one more 3 than Keldon. Just... uugh...
Their pace and physicality is doing us in, too. We seem too tentative to go up against them but also we have allowed ourselves to get beaten down the court too often for layups. It also doesn't help that we started WAY to slow and have played catch up again.
Normally Keldon is our rally guy, but he's struggling so the rest of the team needs to rally around him.
Our bench only has 8 points combined so it's endemic. We need to go downhill and fast. We need to pass it crisply, move better, and get in sync.
Only 3TOs this Q so that's better.
Just let loose the anchors, unfold the sails, and LET'S GO!!!
