Grant has been awesome in Portland. I remember being told that the Bucks shouldn't acquire Grant because he didn't shoot the 3 that great in his 2 years in Detroit. Now that he's not the only offensive option on his team, he's shooting 48% from 3.

Too bad we couldn't get that deal done. Our playoff defense would be amazing.

We kinda got that deal done, considering it was our 1st.

I don't get what you're saying here, can you expand this? Sorry

Just a bad joke. Portland sent one of our 1sts that they acquired in the McCollum deal to land Grant.

Weird sort of collision that this is all about not enough minutes for Christian Wood.

To think an NBA GM (and owner) then traded him.........

Feel like the current Mav's team doesn't have much talent beyond Luka. As he did here, Kidd overachieved in year one.

Eventually they'll need to make some sort of franchise re-defining move with the other players and draft picks.

Portland traded the MIL 1ST they got for CJ to DET for Grant. Mind you a big deal why this worked is that they took him into a TPE, which was seen as additional value by DET.

Wolves could’ve traded like 80% of the Gobert assets for Dejounte, kept Vanderbilt and had one of the most fun, explosive young teams in the league.

Murray/Edwards/McDaniels/Vanderbilt/KAT

Solves their PG issue with Murray in for DLo, gives them a ton of speed/quickness to run with Edwards, switchable on D, and far less clunky on O.

That team is screwed with the Gobert trade.

They are going to have to trade KAT to the Knicks to make up for that. I think Gobert without Towns could make some sense on that team.

Haliburton/Mathurin/Turner is a damn good core to build off of. They have that magical combination of assets consisting of win now players, picks, young players and expiring contracts in order to go get another core guy. I'd definitely be looking to do that if I were Indy.

It's so ugly. I can't imagine a worse pairing than these two. Utah just laughing at the highway robbery they pulled off

This could work but it's terrible execution by both guys, and then it's just KAT getting stoned and stripped which would look bad no matter who else is on the court. And of course Gobert handling the ball should never happen.

Let's just be glad the Warriors didn't draft Haliburton

It's wild they didn't since Larry Harris keeps funneling the WI guys to the Warriors

Yeah if they had shopped KAT when trying to get Gobert they might have either been able to get an asset from Utah in a straight up swap or involved a 3rd team like NY and came out ahead. Instead they extend KAT making him untradable for a year.

That was 17 years ago. Seems like yesterday we were arguing about it on here with Epi. Time moves way too quickly.
