anybody want to go to the game today?

Post#1 » by Howling Mad » Sat Oct 6, 2007 8:35 pm

I know its last minute but I do have an extra ticket. I'm going to leave in about 25 minutes, if I get a response here I'll be more than happy to meet you somewhere.

This is just one ticket, and you'll be sitting next to me, my g/f, and some other friends.

Sec 112, second row. The seats are along the first baseline, behind the Cub dugout.

any takers?

You should ask Ibreakznecks. He would be a great person to sit next to screaming his head off about how bad Derrek Lee is

It'll be probably be closer to a mumble than a sing, but hopefully that tune is rockin' when the game is over.

If I don't hear it, its probably because I got too drunk because they were losing by a lot.

The reason why I have an extra ticket = I have a passed out Cub fan on my couch... not able to make it to the game.

We started drinking this morning at 10 and I fired up the grill at about 1130. After lunch we had a round of "strikeouts" and somebody didn't make it. O'well just an extra ticket. I told them not to smoke, but they "thought" they could handle it.

I'm leaving in 2 mintues. I'll peak at the board again but I'm probably going to waste this ticket. Damn!

Can probably get some decent value for it on the street before the game. Might be the only playoff game this year.

Oh, and strikeouts are awesome obviously, whoever couldn't handle it and misses a playoff game because of that deserves to be mocked.

Sorry you had to be at such a crappy game. We were all watching it in spirit with you. At least you got to see some attractive women at least. Right? I'm stuck in my living room watching the game with this stupid little stuffed scarecrow that my girlfriend put out for Halloween. He is about two-feet tall and sometimes I think he moves by himself. I may burn him.

I may run in the marathon tomorrow. If I do, I will spit on the steps of Wrigley.

I'm running it tomorrow, but I didn't train like I did in the past. I'll probably get to about the 10-12 mile and quit, thats about the area I live and I just wanna go home after that.

Return to Chicago Cubs
