Spain vs Germany could be a classic, Germans must win to stay alive

Prediction 4-1 Germany

If you would've told me Costa Rica would have the most points of Concacaf sides after the first two match days, I wouldn't have believed you, yet, here we are.

Yeah, but the draw might also eliminate Iran if Wales beat England by any margin (unless it's by 7, in which case, Wales and Iran would make it through due to GD). It'll be interesting to see the mindset Team Melli comes out with.

There is no way that Wales can beat England , at least very unlikely scenario

I mean, no one thought the Saudis would beat Argentina, nor Japan would be at Germany then lose to Costa Rica, Ecuador tying Netherlands, hell, even Morocco tying Croatia.

Anything really goes in a competition like this, and England didn't look very steady versus the US, so you never know.

What a strike by Olmo and a good save by Neuer

It's weird to see Neuer's distribution looking so poor.

Spain should have scored there.

Spain dodged a bullet. Germanys biggest aerial threat wide open and converted nicely. Correct call though.

I think Spains style of play suits the way Germany want to play, so I wouldn’t be too shocked if they got a result against them. However if Germany play let’s say France who play quite wide and are faster, they will struggle a bit.

When you're relying on the likes of QPR legend Junior Hoilett, who I thought had retired (only to find out he's still only 32), that's no good. But I like how Canada play, it's just the squad is too imbalanced in terms of quality.

They're pretty young TBH. Outside of 3 players everyone else starting is on average 24.

More importantly there's alot of new football fans in Canada and 8 years from now there will be a new crop of 20-24 year old prospects to go along.

If only Davies made that freaking PK

Lol at the US soccer federation changing the Iranian flag. What a bunch of jackasses. Let's show support for women by changing a different countries flag. Idgits.

That's probably it for Germany.

They're going to need some players in their pipeline to pop before the next WC, because they're going to struggle to keep up with the other traditional powers.

Man, if this result holds, Japan missed a golden opportunity.

Holy ****, Asensio, could've really put this one to bed

I didn’t even know they done this, I saw the tweet which showed the post seems like a lot of Iranians supporting it in the comments.
