Believe it or not, it's still all in front of the Knights.
If UCF wins on Saturday, they'll go to the AAC Conference Championship game.
If they win that, they'll go to the Cotton Bowl.

It's pretty crazy. I was hoping we'd sneak in at 25. But 22?! We're big time now, haha. Getting that early P5 bias.

Coastal Carolina may be upset, but they have played NO ONE, and they have one loss. If they were undefeated i'd be all for them being the top ranked G5 team right now. But they do have a loss, and it's a bad one, and they haven't beaten anyone. Sadly, their big game was Virginia but it got cancelled because of the shooting.
Regardless, for UCF, win and in! Take care of USF and we'll have a very tough Top 25 rematch for the CCG (it's always tough to beat a team twice in the same season, especially a ranked opponent on the road!). But if UCF can find a way, COTTON BOWL.

A win is a win is a win.
One of the worst wins in program history, but whatever.
UCF v. Tulane for the American Conference Championship next week in New Orleans.

This game was scary and I was even engaged when UCF was leading by 28 points. But man, we can not play like this.
A win is a win and next week Conference Championship game

Very interesting wrinkle on this week's UCF/Tulane game.
It appears Tulane head coach Willie Fritz is leaving to take the Georgia Tech job.

A lot of speculation flying on that one. Last I saw was that he had interviewed, and it went well, but they still had other interviews they were doing this week and hadn't actually decided yet. That could all be a smoke screen and they've got a handshake agreement so he can finish the season with Tulane. But you gotta think at minimum it's a big distraction from the players.

RE: USF game, what a roller coaster. I wanted to vomit and that feeling did not go away for a while, lol. Our defense was getting shredded. They could not tackle to save their lives, just kept going for the strip, even if it meant giving up 5-6 yards extra each time. In the first half UCF got lucky with a few USF turnovers. In the second half USF got lucky with a number of UCF turnovers. I don't know if the defense just overlooked USF and thought we had it in the bag or what, but they did not come prepared to play.
I can't imagine they'll do the same in the Tulane rematch. They already gave up a ton of points to Tulane in the first match and it's for the conference championship. I fully expect those boys to come out prepared and hungry.
Hopefully Plumlee was being held out as super cautious. But it sounded like he might've tweaked his hamstring, which is not usually a quick recovery. I'm confident in Mikey if he needs to start, but Plumlee was gashing Tulane in the first matchup before the concussion so hoping he can give it a go.

That grab was insane. I remember thinking when I saw it "what a catch, but no way he was inbounds." Crazy to see that toe tap. Probably would've stood if it had been called out of bounds as well. Thankfully we still had a 4th down FG attempt if that didn't stand.

That game left me feeling sick. Great first half and as bad of a half of football that I can remember.

now that I have signal again... we flipped over and checked the score at the half up big, flipped back at the end of the third to see disaster had struck. To echo everyone else's thoughts a win is win but damn... very lucky to get out of that one alive, hope they're bringing their A game this weekend

Playoff expansion is a go. Wish this happened years ago but it’s a great day for college football. There will be complaints but I’m all about the first round home games!

A lot of chatter pregame...
1. Plumlee isn't close to 100% with his hamstring injury
2. Keene isn't willing to burn his redshirt (today would be his 5th game) since he's transferring after the game
3. Castellanos is QB2 today and there's a very good chance he plays with Plumlee gimpy

Ugh, hadn’t seen that about the qb situation, would have adjusted expectations. I doubted jrp when they said hamstring last game.
Came here to post Keene better be the next name in transfer portal… someone who isn’t gonna get drafted and still takes another season over a possible conference championship and NY6 bowl

He'll be in the portal on Monday.
As far as the game goes, I have no idea what the heck happened defensively the last two weeks. Things just totally fell apart.

Say what you want about Mikey Keene but we don't get to the AAC championship game without him. He doesn't owe us anything and he's free to do what is best for him just like he did before he got here.
Ryan Anderson = Pat Garrity 10.0
