GAMES 20 & 21 : Houston Rockets (5-14) @ Denver Nuggets (12-7)

Two games in Denver vs Houston Rockets in three days, a former WC arch-enemy (during Harden era) turned into a rebuilding and tanking team. It is always dangerous when Malone faces an opponent with the worst record in the league, so according to previous experience, it will be one blowout win with one tragic loss (in random order). Still, common sense says - two routine wins.

The two-man game is back, Jokic and the Blue Arrow combine for 63 points, Nnaji adds 15 off the bench to show the continued development of the bench

Hopefully, we'll see MORE of the two-man game between Joker-Murray tonight, just don't want to see a "play down to the competition" game tonight.

Has anyone heard an update on MPJ's heal injury ?

Nuggets have a history of being silent or evasive on injuries, so we will see MPJ when he is ready.

It is fair to be concerned as heal injuries can last a while. I still remember Marcus Camby limping around at a critical time of the season, years ago.

For positive news, it appears Bones is back according to Mike Singer.

44-24 lead after 1st quarter... against all odds Malone beat a twice a back-2-back team with the worst record in the league :lol:

About 2 minutes before the end of 1st half Denver led 70-40 when Jokic committed 3rd foul. Of course, Malone benched him despite he will play probably just about 5 minutes in 2nd half due blowout win... what a legend :lol:

Giving up 47 while scoring 74 in the first half says a lot even against a young (tanking) team like HOU. Didn't gain any ground against the Suns in the standings, but a good win anyway.

Houston has a ways to go but they have some young talent. Denver is starting to jell even without MPJ and Bones.
