Durant drops 40 and we're barely hanging on vs Orlando. Not a good sign

That was some carry job by KD.

If KD didn't pull that off, we'd be talking about the Bol Bol game.

Well that's why you need top 5 player. They just do things not many can. KD was monster tonight.

Would like to see much more engaged Kyrie. Put numbers today, just not what you expect from your max player.

Banchero definitely going to be an all star for years to come. Is he a franchise player is yet to be seen. Tragic needs to find few veteran guards to help this kid.

Nic and Royce proving to be most reliable role players this year. Actually very happy for Nic, availability was his cryptonite.

I know, this reminds me of last year; team didn’t look engaged for stretches and got lazy on many defensive possessions

This system is way to dependent on star activity. If you noticed we played some heavy dose of triangle today. But for triangle to be effective throughout the season you need post game which we don't have.

Kyrie only wants to iso from the top of the key and go from there.

Losing Ben what has me very upset. Out of all players we need Ben to log some heavy min and get into all star shape. He also engine of this team.

That's a ban worthy comment. RJ is a treasure (as is Sarah).

I don't know if it's a personnel thing or staff issue but the lack of focus that happens is just really bad.

So far i put this on the players more than Vaughn. Kyrie needs to get his head together, Harris needs to get his legs under him. This team has too much talent to just have these lapses. Vaughn has done a good job but the low iq plays across the boards are holding this team back

I think Ben's knee soreness is apart of the process of getting his body back to that kind of level. You can't just take a year off like he did and expect to be 100% especially after back surgery. He could also be overcompensating to avoid hurting his back which adds stress on other areas.

KD carried the team, dude is a beast. Claxton held it down today too. O'neale is so clumsy, too many times he let the ball slip thru his hands and this is a recurring thing it's annoying. He's definitely a good addition and helps the team but he needs to put some glue on his hands or something. We def need Yuta and Warren back to take some of his mins. Joe helped today with his 17 pts, 3 pt shots haven't fell down yet but glad he attacked the basket. It looks like Simmons won't be able to play back to backs.

Gotta agree with what Kyrie just said, the game is trending towards taller and skilled big men.

We actually have one of those guys right now but we need to figure out how to put a championship roster around him. Marks has failed in that regard

It's been wings league since Magic. Nothing changed there. Players like LBJ, Giannis, Tatum. Luka just continuity of it. Than you got game changers and unique freak talents like Curry, Timmy, Joker, CP3 etc. But these players still need more talent around them to be successful.

I put KD in MJ and Kobe wanna be's who never figured it out. Kobe/MJ had a privilege to be coached by Zen who took their game into next level and made them best players ever. They exceptional scorers who also understand team concept, meaning how to pass and know when to defer to keep team going. KD just not that smart like them two.

It’s weird man, this whole off season made this season fill like a sitting duck season to the KD era being over. I don’t know, I really hope that with a player of his magnitude that we really do win a ship with him

Seeing how Bol was effectively guarding Curry makes you think, how the hell did we end up having a midget rotation in the backcourt?

Clax really stepped up once Ben stepped out. The FO should really accept that these 2 can't really play together.

We need to trade for a starting C badly. Someone who can defend, rebound and stretch the floor.

I was at the game tonight. Some thoughts

-Crowd was really good. Like way better than last year. For a Monday night game vs a **** team the place was packed and loud. Good to see.

-Seeing KD is person like that is unreal. Some of the shots I saw were in slow motion.

-Claxton os killing it on D. Doing all the little things you don't always see.

-Vibes and chemistry seem good with this group. Far better than last year.

-Joe Harris missing so many wide open 3s just sucks to see. Crowd is ready to explode everytime and he always misses.

This team is def a wing or two short. I can't wait to get Yuta back.

In my opinion he should be starting at the 4 next to KD.

O'Neal is better on the bench.

Anything from Warren would be huge.

Meanwhile if Harris can go back to his old self it would be like adding another player.

Well Brian Lewis and numbers he provide says otherwise. Ben and Nic have net rating of +8.9 throughout the season. It really jumped since Ben came back from ankle injury. Nets also have + rebounds when they both on the floor together.

A lot of what you post will say you're a mediocre troll.

Good win would’ve be smashing them by 30 by the end of third , resting starters with Durant having DNP , yet we struggled to put them away till the last minute with Durant scoring 45 against second worst team in the league at home

It’s not a good win

It’s not a mediocre win

It’s just a W -500 , not a win which builds team morale, it’s hard to take any positives from win like this , mediocrity at is best

Return to Brooklyn Nets
