Jack how you feeling my guy ;)

That defense can't stop anything. Back to back losses.

Good thing you guys see the Rams(2) and the Panthers. 9 Wins is probably enough for playoffs in the NFC this year. Only real competition for those last spots are the Giants/Washington/Seattle fighting over 2 spots.

If we end up with a top 3-5 pick because of this loss. It was a blessing.

This win drops you out of the top 5. Denver has 3 wins & owns the tiebreaker.

Eagles MVP isn't Hurts, it's their O-line. Just straight up dominant.

Been thinking bout the effectiveness of running QBs. They get an extra blocker which makes designed QB runs more effective, maybe too effective.

How about on designed QB runs, they no longer get slide protection?

If it’s off a scramble or any time the QB drops Back, he gets slide protection but designed runs, he’s a RB under the rules and can be hit?

That May level the field a bit more in favor of defenses.

Last year's Super Bowl was Matt Stafford vs Joe Burrow. I don't think a dominant running QB has ever won a Super Bowl. I think it's premature to start changing rules.

I just remember when Kaepernick first broke out for the 49ers, there was talk that they couldn't use the Pistol formation and the run-pass that much because after the QB handed off instead of faking and running with it, teams were allowed to treat the QB as a running back in the backfield and could take shots at him after he handed it off.

So a few times a defensive player who was suppose to set the edge would come up and shove Kaepernick after he handed off so the 49ers didn't run those plays as much.

But apparently teams aren't taking free shots at the QB in those run-pass options any more these days and if the QB can keep the ball, he can run downfield and then slide.

I don't know if there was a specific rule change but it seems running QBs are still well protected.

That's what Mahomes does. He rarely runs out of control; it's almost as if he's thinking don't blow out knees and ankles. Then he slides whenever a defender comes close.
