Good resources to get me up to date

Post#1 » by big-shot-ROB » Tue Nov 29, 2022 5:20 pm

Hi,

I used to be very active on these boards (more reading than posting) and on the whole draft process in general. I've fallen out of knowing too much about the draft, helped by the fact that Boston has been gravitating out of even having 1st round picks.

Is there any YT channel, webpage or blog (looks like the stepien no longer exists, the dime drop guy joined a broadcast, draft express is cool retro stuff already) that might help me get the big picture on this upcoming draft faster (outside of Wemby and Scoot I barely know anyone).

Thx
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

Ya this board is going to be as in depth and multiple differentiating opinions on any of the names that will go in the 1st and upper half of the 2nd as youll find probably. I mean we arent even in December yet and this year's draft class thread has 900 posts in it. And I would say the vast majority of the people posting here (even if you dont always agree with their conclusions on players) are pretty knowledgeable people who watch these guys a good amount.

YouTube channels:
Matthew Loves Ball for college highlights
Box and One from Adam Spinella for prospect reviews
NBA Draft Junkies for Rafael Barlowe's review of Euro prospects

Web:
Tankathon for stats and their Compare tool.
Sports-reference.com for college player advanced stats
Thestepien.com used to be better but occasionally they have good stuff still.
