Which of these championship duos would you take for one season in today's game? The pair is at their peak together and historical players get a full offseason to adapt to the modern game.
Magic/Kareem
MJ/Pippen
Shaq/Kobe
Curry/KD
LeBron/AD

When you say peak together do you mean I get a year like '82 for the first Lakers duo (or whichever you prefer), or could I combine '71 KAJ with '87 Magic?
I bought a boat.

Re: Best championship duo for today's game?
Magic and Kareem feels like right answer here. I’d definitely want a big, so I can see weaker cases for Kobe/Shaq(proven great duo dominated the postseason, personality conflict can hold them back and Shaq’s defense may hold back the duo in this kind of environment), and Lebron/AD(won a title together, risky to assume that AD can replicate that red hot shooting performance he had though, and generally just like the Magic/Kareem fit better).
Not really giving serious consideration to MJ/Pippen or Curry/KD.

Leaning Bron/AD or MJ/Pip, but only because Steph/Dray is not an option

Like '82 for the first Lakers duo, or 2020 for LeBron/AD. The highest historical strength of the pair together.

Wow! Lots of respect for Dray. As a fan of Draymond I like it, but I expect that would not be a popular appraisal. I'd add it to the poll but it would destroy the accumulated results thus far.
I also thought about including Duncan/Manu but wanted to keep the field smaller.

Mmkay, think I'll go with LBJ/AD if ignoring health, but if considering health I'd go MJ/Pippen (not certain on year off the top). Voted MJ/Pippen.
I generally like going perimeter/big together, but I don't have faith in '80s Kareem or Shaq to defend well in this era. Either would both obviously still be great and force the league to adjust to them, but I do think there'd be some minor things holding them back.
Good set of duos.
I too would've picked Steph/Dray

I bought a boat.

Personally, I can't turn down the shooting of KD/Curry.

MJ/Pippen obviously. Don’t get it twisted that combo would be deadly today (or basically any year in their primes).
Green/Curry is the GSW team. KD is awesome of course but you still need defence.

Shaq and Kobe for me. More a fan of Magic and Kareem, but I'm not sold on Magics perimeter shooting.
01 Shaq and Kobe was the GOAT duo in NBA history where 2 superstars' summits of their careers were as closely intertwined as possible imho. I've never seen a more dominant duo in history before or since.

At their peaks, respectively, with fit considered and holding all-else equal roster.
LeBron-AD , Magic-Kareem
Kobe-Shaq , Curry-KD
Jordan-Pippen
