Yeah. Even Pritchard played down there for awhile.
Stevens is utilizing all of his tools and options.

Looks like Kabengele is still up with the Boston Celtics.

Is Samanic a legit prospect?

Pop cut him in SA because his attitude/work ethic was substandard.

But he is only 22 and was picked no. 19 overall in 2019.

That attitude might be due to his youth? -- Maybe he's matured a bit?
He seems to be playing lights out, in the G-League.

He's absolutely a legit prospect. Was a top 20 draft pick 3 years ago. Has a decent amount of NBA experience:

It's worth keeping tabs on him in the g league. If he is playing really well and if we have a need for a player with his size and skill set, we could try to bring him up (and waive jackson or Vonleh). But, more realistically, he's a guy who could try and make the roster next season - especially if Gallinari is moved in a trade.. Samanic is fairly similar in terms of size, skillset and the way he moves out there to Gallo. Obviously, Gallo is much better and more proven at the NBA level..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

If Luka is a real prospect, another team will snap him up as soon as the 10 day contract season begins, or soon thereafter. I suspect (or hope) Brad has something in place with him, at the least for an informal "right of first refusal."

Can we add a player with the Disabled player exception?
We can stash Galo and sign Samanic

We'd have to Waive a Player. As we still can only have 15 NBA Players, even with (and including) the DPE.
However, there is also a "Hardship Exception".:

Which is, when we have 4 Players Injured and/or with Illness, that will keep them out for an extended time.
It's complex. = 3 Players have to have already missed 3 Games, when the 4th player becomes "Unable to Perform".

In any event, and in this instance, we can temporarily go over 15 NBA Players.
Until such time, as one of the 4 players can play again. Basically, more than 3 players "Unable to Perform".

I.e: If there are 5 players who can't play, then we can add 2 players, and so on.
The Hardship Player(s) will have to be removed, when the Regular Players come back.

I hope that I explained this well enough?
Here's a better explanation of the Rules:

Maybe it’s time to think about signing him to a 2 way before losing him. Can think about promoting Gele.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Too many other bigs ahead of Kabengele on the depth chart.

Not sure what would be the point in promoting Kabengele, just to ride the bench all the time.

Who are you waiving to make room for Kabengele? And would making that move really move the needle to get us banner 18?

I'd do it, just to tie up Luka. We can let Justin Jackson go.
