I’ve built a little cult of haters, it is what it is. When you disagree with the majority (the misinformed/smaller minds) that will be the case. Now everything I argued has come to light and in defeat they can only continue to spew nonsense.
Kneel before me.

Randle with 36-7-5 in 3 quarters, likely done for the night.

We all want your version of Bam. Question is, does he want it? Is he an alpha or beta? He always reverts to Beta Bam.

Great job Webster! If he reverts it’s due to Spo, that’s a fact.

Are you sure that is a fact and not a hyperbole?

1. Unsubstantiated - not supported or proven by evidence.
As is the above statement.
2. Objective - (of a person or their judgment) not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.
When evidence is provided, it is of the confirmation bias type, rather than an objective take or representation of the reality.

Interesting that you know of it… just curious if that was meant as a self-reflection or a dig? Either way, I’ll just say that in this case, I’ll choose ignorance in how that statement was intended and not take it personally.
As for your homeboy Bam… I am just happy that he has strung together a few games with enough evidence to fuel your confirmation bias some more, and I hope it becomes consistent evidence where it can become a fact in his game. I am really rooting for you and your hot takes to be supported by an Alpha version of Bam, so much so, that your takes actually start to appear as objective takes instead.
As such, go Bam! Make this leap a permanent change! I want All Star Bam! I want our boy, 3ammy3uck3ts, to be validated! Then, I want Herro and Lowry to earn their contracts, playoff Butler to do his thing, and a trade for a big man! I like the idea of Randle btw.

What takes of mine regarding Bam do you view as outlandish though? I think he’s our best defender, our 2nd best scorer when Jimmy is locked in, and our clear cut 2nd best player. I don’t think any of that is crazy lol
But yes I agree with you, Lowry is finally stepping up. He’s killing himself for this team right now and honestly I respect it. Herro has me a little nervous but if he can find ways to impact when his shot is off (his 2 man game with Bam is elite league wide) consistently it will be huge for us.

This ain't 1992, Bam can't have a worst shooter big next to him. he's the non-shooter. The other big should be the spacer.

Didn't say anything about shooting. For their era Oakley and PJ were considered stretch 4s. Horry for his era and this era is considered a stretch 4. I am talking about having a physical player that does the dirty work that can relieve Bam from having to be physical.
However, many on here are asking Bam to shoot 3s. If that's the case he sure can put around the block player. Bam is shooting midranger without hesitating. If he continues to do so, you can play another player filling in the bird box.

We really don't need to see Bam hitting 3's that infatuation needs to end, even the elite level PF who where good to great jump shooters didn't shoot threes until their athleticism completely went away at the tail end of their careers and made that inside middy area their playground. Players like Timmy, Amare, Bosh, etc owned that middy game and then progressed to 3's later down their career.

Re: NBA 2022-23 Regular Season Thread Volume 1
Current #1 team in the East: Celtics w/ 17-4 record
Their best statisticald players:
Jaylen Brown: 26.1 PPG, 6.5 Reb, 3.4 Ast, 50.7% FG%, 1.1 STL, 0.3 BLK (22/23 Salary: $28,741,071)
Jayson Tatum: 30.8 PPG, 7.7 Reb, 4.6 Ast, 48.1% FG%, 0.9 STL, 1.2 BLK (22/23 Salary: $30,351,780)
Our best statistical players:
Bam Adebayo: 20.5 PPG, 9.4 Reb, 3.2 Ast, 53.0% FG%, 1.0 STL, 0.8 BLK (22/23 Salary: $30,351,780)
Jimmy Butler: 20.9 PPG, 6.6 Reb, 6.1 Ast, 48.3% FG%, 1.8 STL, 0.2 BLK (22/23 Salary: $37,653,300)
Both team’s best players are the two highest paid players as well for each team respectively… which is what you want. Problem is that our best players combine for $68 mil and are way under performing in comparison to the Celtic’s $59 mil worth of best players.
Celtics’ Combined: 56.9 PPG, 14.2 Reb, 8.0 Ast, 2.0 STL, 1.5 BLK, $59mil
Heat’s Combined: 41.4 PPG, 16 Reb, 9.3 Ast, 2.8 STL, 1.0 BLK, $68mil
When looking at this from an ROI (return on investment) perspective, either Jimmy and Bam need to start earning those checks, or they better hope their supporting staff fills the gaps they are leaving. Either way, our best players aren’t currently worth their salaries.
