After his contract, Al would have played more years than KG as a celtic. If he wins a title with us, i would put him ahead of KG on the all time celtics.

Congrats to Horford on earning that extension. Another great move by Stevens, he really doesn't miss. Interesting that under his tenure, Smart, Timelord and Horford have all signed contract extensions now. Really makes you wonder about how much Grant was asking for that a deal couldn't get done.

Al is a tremendous person, great player, and positive influence for the younger players. He really keeps this team together.

Happy that he will likely retire as a Celtic.

Wow great move. Congrats to Al and team.

We need the HugePat long term prognostication on how this affects the salary structure. Seems like next year might be a year to spend heavy around the margins, before JB's next deal.
