Are you Ghanaian or Uruguayan if you don’t mind me asking?

I have Ghanaians in my family through my uncles marriage, so I have cousins that are Ghanaian so I normally root for them as a second team in the WC.

Believe it or not it is still touching the line by the looks of it, can't be sure but the back end of the ball looks in in touch with the line. :o

really need an angle right down the line. the bottom of the ball is past the line but the middle of the ball might be still over the line

How does VAR miss this? HOW?!?!?!?!

Bad angle maybe, the overhead shot shows it still not fully over I think. The ball is a sphere, so the bottom might show a bit of green but the side still clipping the line.

How is it a bad angle?

You can see the ball and the grass and the line.

Alright, cool. I thought it was the 1990 one because you said you've been watching WCs for 32 years... so 2022 - 32 = 1990.

I don't remember the 1986 very well... I was quite young at that time... but the 1990 one I remember being pretty pissed off when Argentina won against us.

iirc there was similiar situation in euros where sweden and denmark just passed the ball around for the final 5 minutes or so. i might be mistaken about the countries though.

Meanwhile, my FM team just scored five goals in the final 25 minutes to erase a 3-0 deficit against lowly Brighton at home. Seems like it's just a crazy day all the way around.

Yeah, isn't the widest/fattest part of the ball?

CR obviously doesn't defend well.

Germany goals, wide open knock ins.

10 mins for Germany? Honestly I can see them putting in another 6.
