Yeah, isn't the widest/fattest part of the ball?

We need an overhead shot to confirm.

I guessing the VAR guys didn't have that shot, so maybe they didn't have enough evidence to reverse the initial call?

This is actually a great result for Spain. Pretty bad outcome for Portugal --- Before they had a Quarter final against Morroco/Japan. Now likely Spain.

Spain avoids Croatia and dodges Brazil too.

All Spain needs to do is not lose and yeah they are losing.

But they advance now anyway, right? It's Germany that's on the brink?

I don't think Spain tanked, they were trying to win and got beat.

Are you Ghanaian or Uruguayan if you don’t mind me asking?

I have Ghanaians in my family through my uncles marriage, so I have cousins that are Ghanaian so I normally root for them as a second team in the WC.

Half Uruguayan, half Colombia, American born.

So yea... the start of my beloved Celeste has me a piss poor dreary mood..... the awful tactics of playing anti-futbol where as we played offensively towards the end of our qualifiers thus sealing our place in the cup has left all of us mad and angry at the coach.

It's going to be a nerve wracking game!

Will root for Uruguay then as a fellow Nets fan 8-)

Spain's "WTF" body language does not indicate a team that wanted to lose.

Gratz to Japan. Still finished #1 after losing to Costa Rica. 2 comeback games against Spain and Germany.

Looked like a totally different in this 2nd half.

This Navas last World Cup? This man is a legend regardless.

Graeme Souness crying in the studio after gassing up Spain at half-time.

You absolutely love to see it.

Nueur had a bad game vs Japan and that was the difference along with a world class strike to deal the game in the final goal.

Germany would have to score 7 goals which didnt happen.
