It basically happened already with the growing Oladipo, Tobias Magic turning into the win-now Fournier, Vooch Magic.

I think the difference with both built is we know we have a real number one option this time.

Anyway, I dont think we are in a rush. Usually management has a 5-year plan to re-build. Tbh, we’re really just in the 2nd year.

He doesn't play a lick of defense. But can shoot efficiently, rebound and set screens. That sounds a LOT like M-Wagner.

Can you imagine a CEO in the real world convincing his shareholders that even though it’s his sixth year in charge and the company is flat-lining, they should really only consider it his second year because that’s when he started trying? Only in the NBA. Well, only in Orlando.

So we are just going to pretend that 4 years of planned nothingness didn't happen?

Imagine scenario where anybody with any basketball knowledge is walking into situation where team is flat out bad, you have 6th overall pick on a clock, you have no starting PG, your draftee plays same position as 3rd best player and your "masterplan " is ... Nothing. Just roll with it for as long as it's possible. Along the lines just keep re-singing everybody without changing anything.
In first year team has yet another collapse, you are again awarded with 6th pick, you draft complete bust who also doesn't fit position, and cycle continues for another year.
In third year you draft player that you know can't play basketball. you still didn't make any roster changes.
In year four players give up on your " plan" and you are awarded with new rebuild.

Whole thing is laughable mess.

In whole process from 2017- 2020 their roster additions were.

Isaac- never played basketball
fultz- never played basketball
Okeke- shouldn't ever play basketball
Bamba- draft bust
Cole- medoicre bench chucker
Iwundu,Frazier, Grant, Briscoe, MCW and army of China-level players

He plays defense. He just doesn't have the footspeed to be in the correct spot on time. Which is kinda opposite MoW wherein he gets to his spot and tries to take the charge.

Also. IF Garza rebounds well, then I don't think you can accuse MoW of the same.
