Khruangbin is my new favorite band. I love Mark Speer's guitar playing. Plus, they just got a great groove going.

"Khruangbin" means "airplane" in Thai.

Had no idea. My brother is in Thailand at the moment.

I was also going to go to this game since it’s the only one in Charlotte this year but decided not to, I wanted to bring my kid and I don’t think he can handle it yet and I didn’t want to leave him with my in-laws

You can usually get cheap seats in Charlotte though. I have got several basically in the front row behind the visitors bench where you can see yourself on tv with free food in the tunnel where the players come out

I was also going to go to this game since it’s the only one in Charlotte this year but decided not to, I wanted to bring my kid and I don’t think he can handle it yet and I didn’t want to leave him with my in-laws

You can usually get cheap seats in Charlotte though. I have got several basically in the front row behind the visitors bench where you can see yourself on tv with free food in the tunnel where the players come out

i doubt i'll buy the really good seats. i usually limit myself to less than $100.

i remember years ago, hornet's playoff tickets were going for under $5, just because no one wanted to go. now, them against NY is around $20 for cheap seats.

i'll take $20, but damn, i wish we had those $5.


i went to NYK vs hornets last year. MJ was at the game. unless i have some **** go down at work, i'll likely be heading to hornets game. only 1 or 2 a year.

Same in Philly when I lived there. I bet you get fetch more reasonably priced tix on StubHub on game day. At least that held true for Mets games.

The higher level seats are not bad, IMO, because you see the plays develop more easily from up above the floor. I don't even think I'd like floor level seats. My mail goal is sit as close to midcourt as possible.

Sonic Youth was good though, I always liked the bassist. I think she got in trouble a few years back when she said something to the extent of "if Lana Del Ray thinks that rockers burning out and dying in their late 20s is cool, she should go ahead and kill herself".
