I finally got to watch the condensed replay. The Cavs are very good and also a uniquely bad matchup for us without Harden & Maxey. Their only real weakness is that Garland/Mitchell are exploitable defenders and we can’t put pressure on them without Harden or Maxey. But I still think we lose with those two anyway lol.
Garland is such a monster maybe my favorite player to watch currently. He the player that everyone wants Trae Young to be.

Re: GM 22: Sixers vs Cavs.... game of the Hospitals
thought defensively we had the two guards under control early on IMO. Offensively the gameplan was working too. Things fell apart as the bench came in and they got into a groove and we had two clubbed left feet lol. Really not much you can take from this game IMO.
now if it continues then we can cry in the car
but honestly...and yeah total mood switch here...do yall really think this team is doing anything of value this year lol? Really feels like everything is just going through the motions at this stage. As is the only ways this team takes the next step and return to true contention (imo there are 3 stages in terms of playoff teams. Treadmill (we were here with Iggy); Cusp (been here; can make fluke runs and even might steal one with luck) and true contention (be mad as **** when you lose in the playoffs pre finals)) is if the teams ahead of us take each other out or get injured, Maxey returns from his injury and makes the leap, or Morey somehow turns our trash into gold. This roster will compete, beat most of the teams they should, steal some from better squads but in a 7 game series I just don't think we have the firepower to make things happen. We rely on tough shot making...and alot of it from our center.
idk. This doesn;t mean blow it up either as for one due to owing picks that isn't wise IMO..and while Utah is a nice story, its not the norm and they probably will return to earth soon (not to mention even a hobbled Embiid on most teams will be a playoff team IMO...and lets also be real it would be Golden State lol)). It just feels like we are who we are and until the playoffs its hard to get too up or too down because nothing is going to change until then where we MIGHT get lucky. There are no moves left to be made and thats a bummer lol. The FO has used all of their war chest and this is the final result.

Eh not sure about that, we've dominated the Cavs last year even with Garland, and we always beat the Jazz when they had Mitchell.
I think we do need Harden and Maxey back though.
Our defense cannot be ass either.

You must be new here. No critiquing female professionals because, well, female. Bigot.

Harden and Maxey have to be better there. Maybe stagger their mins with M&M. Harden with Melton and Maxey off the ball with Shake on?

Problem is Maxey needs to cook when Harden isn't there. Someone has to be sacrificed, and it might be Shake...
