Through three defenders and centimeters past the keeper's outstretched glove.

I won't lie, assuming England do their usual and disappoint, I would love a Portugal vs. Argentina final, for obvious reasons.

so the australian guy will miss the next match, but if they lose does that still stay in effect for whenever australia next plays or does it go away once the tournament ends/they are eliminated?

I believe it stays for the next international game ( prob. next WC qualifiers or something like that).

Argentna are badly in need of a target player. They've literally got nobody at the forward spot that can handle long balls and hold the ball.

Fox piss me off with their formation: 4-1-2-3. It's 4-3-3...

The US has potential, hopefully one of the young strikers figures things out by 2026.

Could also use a higher level CB. The ones we currently have are solid for CONCACAF, but not higher level teams.

Starting to slightly understand why the Cameroon manager sent his goalie home for refusing to stop coming out to play the ball (even though he is super good at it) lol.

Here's my prediction for the remainder of the tournament. I got the Netherlands - USA game wrong already.

Woof. That was, as an English play-by-play announcer might say, shambolic.

whats up with these goalies acting so weird, they would not pick up the ball when its the right thing to do; do they view too high of themselves?

The ball was passed back to him on that goal.

So Netherlands vs Argentina. Some interesting games in WC history. Final in '78, quarter final in '98, semi final in '14. It's the Netherlands turn to win.
