I like Utah for some reason. I also hold my nose and root for the Big Ten in cases like this, even if it means rooting for Ohio State. What's good for the Big Ten is often good for Wisconsin when it comes to competing with the SEC. One day we might be crossing our fingers and hoping that the committee holds Wisconsin' strength of schedule in comparable regard to some SEC team's. Getting two teams in can help that.

I don't think the committee is actually giving any consideration to Alabama. The best thing the CFP ever did was kill the recency bias of polls that used to plague college football, and I say good riddance. Just because OSU looked bad in their last game, and TCU might, still doesn't/wouldn't make Alabama's overall body of work as good as theirs.

TCU will get in over Bama even if they lose.

Bamas best win is against Texas. 20-19. TCU's best win will be against top 10 K-State.

TCU also won at Texas and did not give up an offensive TD.

Bamas 2 losses were as double digit favorites.

Has anyone trademarked "Max-saw Jim Duggan" yet? If not, it's mine.

I'm ashamed that I didn't watch TCU a little more this year.

Great stop, but I'm almost positive it was a TD on 3rd down.

I don't understand why replays can't be combined. One camera angle shows that he doesn't lose the ball until he achieves maximum reach, but that view alone doesn't prove he crossed the plane because the overhead camera is a little behind the line of scrimmage. However, you can compare his extension to nearby defenders, and if a view from the pylon shows where those nearby defenders are in relation to the goal line, then I think you can prove that he crossed the plane.

Thrilled that Ohio State and Alabama are going to back their way in to the playoffs.

Don't know what you want from me if they don't but if they do you have to write a post endlessly praising me and everything I've ever said on this forum and give me the leash to say whatever the **** I want on the Bucks/Brewers/Packers boards.

May as well skip the semifinals and go straight to Michigan-Georgia.

That was a close game. Think TCU hangs on to #4.

I honestly see no reason OSU jumps them. Their schedule wasn't really any tougher than TCU's overall, especially since they didn't have to play a championship game, and they don't get extra credit for having Michigan on their schedule when they got their butts kicked at home.

Saban on at halftime: "If we would play any of the other teams on the bubble we'd be the favorite".

You lost two games as a double digit favorite.

He's spinning why they should be the first 2 loss team.

I don't blame him for lobbying for his team but he can piss off.
