As much as I enjoy this, it bothers me to the core that they ignored the quarterback position for three straight seasons, and the best one they could put on the field is a gritty 5'10 backup with with a lame arm. A simple top 12 quarterback would have them at a Super Bowl calibre level.

There’s no way six wins in seven games is fool’s gold.
The defense got gashed and yet they still won despite Heineke. The running game and some good receivers plus a well above average defense make this a legit team.
Been saying they’re decent since they were 1-3.
Atlanta is a decent team.

If Wes plays tomorrow and he or Cosmi can make some blocks in space, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Gibson/Samuel have some big plays on screens and motion miss direction runs. Especially if Bates continues to block like the last game.

Yea, but I think they overspend on a free agent QB like Jimmy G or Geno Smith. That's just my gut feeling. They're not going into next season with Heineke as the starter.
