Three straight wins. 4-4

All this does is kill Washington's draft seeding.

Six wins in the last seven games. At 7-5, the playoffs are within reach.

Yeah I mean if they win out they are almost a lock to make the play offs.

I like the heart and grit of this team, even though it is 100% fools gold. Heineke out here just throwing ducks and complete moonballs, but for some reason his presence has elevated the defense into a top-5 defense. It's weird.

As much as I enjoy this, it bothers me to the core that they ignored the quarterback position for three straight seasons, and the best one they could put on the field is a gritty 5'10 backup with with a lame arm. A simple top 12 quarterback would have them at a Super Bowl calibre level.

They’re currently already in the third wildcard.

I think a 4-2 finish and 10-7 makes playoffs.

There’s no way six wins in seven games is fool’s gold.

The defense got gashed and yet they still won despite Heineke. The running game and some good receivers plus a well above average defense make this a legit team.

Been saying they’re decent since they were 1-3.

Atlanta is a decent team.

Heineke? I actually agree with your premise. Dude is more lucky than good. He’s winning the same way washed Alex Smith won. Game manager.

I actually really like Sam Howell but will he get a real chance here? I doubt it.

How many Falcons hit BRob before he goes down? I think the Atlanta DBs were sick of bouncing off of him.

BRob had a few tough yards after the catch on this short pass too.

If Wes plays tomorrow and he or Cosmi can make some blocks in space, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Gibson/Samuel have some big plays on screens and motion miss direction runs. Especially if Bates continues to block like the last game.

Tomorrow scares me. Giants will be pumped. Jones always kills the DCFT.

Honestly the Commanders hurt themselves too.
But I get the disappointment when a flag is thrown then picked up.
Should have been a pass interference.
And Idk why it’s ok to rip off a player’s helmet by the face mask. Seemed like an obvious call to me.

The helmet getting ripped off on a critical 3rd down play was so obvious
as to make me wonder why there shouldn't be a corruption investigation.
Forget the PI they picked up which I'm not sure about. I find it hard to say
in close cases what PI is anymore. But ripping off a helmet by the facemask...
a penalty there is a 1st down and at worst, probably a closer more makeable
FG attempt and a W.

Probably going to lose Payne this offseason. I think he'll be too expensive.

I don't think so.

Carson Wentz is off books after this season.

That's 28m right there.

Yea, but I think they overspend on a free agent QB like Jimmy G or Geno Smith. That's just my gut feeling. They're not going into next season with Heineke as the starter.

I hope your gut is wrong. We are a much better team with Payne and Heineke than with Geno Smith.
