Sorry brother, was a busy day.

He looked pretty good, solid jump shot and a good passer. He doesn’t blow you away physically or with athleticism imo so idk if that’ll hamper him when he gets to the league or not. Could end up being a good 3 and D guard in the league

To be honest were all pretty tired of the none athletes who work hard and have non refind games. We need someone who can score and get to the rim at will and break ankles.

Only issue is - you don't find these type of cats in the 15-25 range.

Exactly my problem, if there was a year for talent that changes your future outlook its this draft.

I will say players seem to be neutered in Cals system and then breakout in the nba. It’s why guys like Maxey who were unanimous top 5 picks before college fall to late first round. Or Devin Booker comes off the bench, or why people were mad about the Herro pick or didn’t think Keldon Johnson would last in the league, etc.

If the Heat are looking for 6'7/6'8 SG who can play the PG a bit than Jovic's "robin" in the junior grades Nikola Durisic is a really solid pick imo if picking in the middle to latter of the first round. He's the Serbian version of Devin Booker in the way he plays (not saying he will ever come close to D Book). He's had a few injuries to start the ABA season so he still working his way back to form but here is some clips from preseason where they played against a team with 2 lottery picks (Thompson twins) where he was the best player on the floor

Some mocks have him going in the 2nd round which is ridiculous

Good distribution in that clip. Going to be a big benefit to him if he really fleshes out the point side of his combo guard skillset.

This would be a cool story if he somehow landed on the Heat.

Pretty much, if we just drafted the highest Kentucky player every draft in the 1st round since Calipari joined in 2009 (where there was one in similar draft position), where would we be?

2022: Nikola Jovic -> TyTy Washington
2020: Precious Achiuwa -> Tyrese Maxey
2019: Tyler Herro -> Tyler Herro
2017: Bam Adebayo -> Bam Adebayo
2015: Justise Winslow -> Devin Booker (well Trey Lyles was actually drafted 13, Booker 14 though, but I think Heat were pegged for Booker till Justise slipped)

Precious could still turn out better than Maxey, but unlikely (he's averaging 17/10/2/1/1 per36, so is improving), he is a guy you would expect to take longer as a big. TyTy and Nikola are both struggling but early days. We snuffed on Winslow for Booker obviously.

Currently Cason Wallace is listed in nbadraft.net mock as ours so they've slotted a Kentucky guy in for us.

Would take Cason for sure. That would be a big win.

Jett Howard is the only reason Juwan has a job still in Michigan. Theyll get rid of him once Jett hits the draft.

I watch college basketball more than i do the nba, a whole lot more, in most conferences too. the nba product has become a lay up line and all the fake injuries and crap is annoying. My fave player is Trayce Jackson Davis but im not sure his game translate well in the NBA.

Anyways, i was watching the Alabama game yesterday.. nobody coming out in this draft has the character of Brandon Miller. There may be more talented players obviously. But he went on the road, a 20 year old kid, faced lock him up and put him in jail and guilty chants, and still dropped 41 points. Game tying layup to force overtime and game winning field goal. I hope hes not guilty because hes a player in the nba.
