I know people hate it when people overrate young players, especially English ones, but Bellingham might be the best midfield prospect on the planet. He's just got it. Plays like he's been playing at this level for 20 years.

Until he gets bought for 100+ mil by an english team and proceeds to drown in the premier league.
Main problem of English is their arrogance and hubris.

He could succeed if he went to a club like Liverpool or City, he just has to avoid United, where young prospects go to die.

Maybe that's about to change, regardless those English prospects that rise in Germany don't end up being very good in Premiership.

I disagree, he is "just" incredibly genetically gifted. His physical abilities are incredible. I don't see him as naturally talented as Messi and Ronaldinho is/was. I believe the real Ronaldo was a better player then Mbappe is and will ever be.

Have to give Southgate credit at that point. They've had much more talented squads than this over the past two decades but he's the one getting results.

The most important aspect of Southgate is that the players like him and go out there and play for him. He's got the players up and ready for the tournaments.

I don't rate him at all as a tactician or as someone who can turn a game with substitutions or changes in shape.

I do think this is the most talented team we've had since the "Golden Generation" of the late 90s and early 00s, though.
