Isiah's been playing better the last 2 but it's still pointless to play him when Sims gives u so much more across the board

Honestly Mitch was leaned on heavily this game , but was brought at times that could have completely turned game around.

Thibs managed it well today and I think it’s a template for maximizing mitchs effectiveness in the future.
Do I expect Thibs to manage it perfectly every game ?
No it’s a tall order

Mitch defensive prowess sometimes overcomes his lack of zero offense like tonight but on most occasions it does not. He is what he is which unfortunately is a complete gaping hole, lane clogging, liability on the offensive end. All he needs to do is add 1 or 2 post moves to his arsenal for him to become a complete asset.

Some nice cutting and exchanges between Shart and Grimes in the highlights.

IQ looked good driving it, must have been the porous backcourt defense of the Cavs that so many on here wanted the Knicks to duplicate

McBride for Rose was an underrated move. Gave us a defensive boost and slowed both Spida and Garland down. Grimes over Fournier and McBride over Rose (and IQ getting a few more of RJ’s minutes) could be three moves that save Thibs’ job…

Its one game. Mitchell is shooting almost 50,40,90 for the season. And we all know RJs numbers

Cavs are mid with Mitchell just like I said they would be. And people wanted to give up first round picks and three rotational players that we recently drafted. Just to be mid like the Cavs. This game was perfect.

Strong bounce back from RJ after he was awful in the first. He still ended up more efficient then Mitchell, Garland and Lavert and Okoro

SF: Trey Murphy | Trent | Anderson | Simone

Bingo.

But RJ and DMitch do have one thing in common this season. Each players season so far has directly correlated with their teams season record.

Lol. You're kidding right?? Mid? Cavs have the 5th best record in the entire NBA even after this loss. They locked in for top 3 in the east and have a great chance to compete for a finals run. It was one bad game that the Knicks took advantage of. Let's just leave it at what it was.
