Can the good people over at Dr. Pepper please institute a rule that you have to throw these footballs one-handed? Might as well just cancel this giveaway and move it to the Final Foul since everyone does 2-handed chest passes.

FG to go from 12 to 9 in the 4th quarter?
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If you can't throw a spiral, those 2-handed knuckleballs are the way to go.

Over-under on how long it will take Deion's program to get sanctions: 2 years.

The media needs to get attention and clicks, so they're going to try to act like it's a debate. However, the only thing left to settle was OSU vs. USC; the rest is just about seeding. The committee is not going to punish teams for having to play an extra game against a good team, and yes, even Purdue is a good team.

Think of it like this: if you can go undefeated and then still lose your clearly-deserved CFP spot in the conference championship game, then why not just cancel the conference championship? If you've created an incentive to do that, then you've messed up big time, and I think the committee knows that. OSU and USC were close enough that USC needed to win a conference championship to clearly separate themselves, but TCU is in, period - and I frankly see no way they drop to #4 unless the CFP shamelessly seeds for ratings (which I guess they might).

I was hoping he would stay and bring more household name recognition to the HBCU teams, but I get it. C.R.E.A.M.

Once he stirred up enough and HBCU colleges started recruiting top tier players, some college was bound to throw money at him. Hard to recruit for a school that can't even provide clean water to their players.

CFP got it right, not that it was a remotely difficult decision. Worth remembering that they don't punish teams like TCU for having to play an extra game against a good team if they've already clearly proven they deserve the #3 spot. Unless there's still a case for someone else before the championship games, such as USC vs. OSU, championship weekend is just for seeding and money.

How did Colorado get so damn bad in the first place? They were downright embarrassing this year.

Time to re-think the Heisman. It's bad enough that QBs have been winning it 75% of the time the last 20 years, but now they're the only finalists. Still no defensive winner since Woodson '97.

I think one thing is Colorado has one of the toughest situations for a regional sport. Madison is driveable/close to Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, random populated areas in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, etc.

Denver...you gotta drive 8-9 hours to SLC/KC. There isn't really much for medium-sized towns in eastern Utah, NM, etc.

Everyone you recruit not from Colorado is not a regional recruit.

As a random example - Sanborn was a guy in the far reaches of the NW Chicago suburbs. ~2 hours from Madison. That's pretty close! You just don't have random population centers nearby to pull recruits in Colorado. It's Denver, Colorado Springs, or you are getting on an airplane/long road trip.

Also, Tucker probably left them hanging.

What a shocking move.

(I'm hoping we don't see the same with Fickell to OSU in 5 years, but that means he'd have done well).

This is definitely a born/raised/grad move. Louisville is going to have significantly less resources moving forward than Purdue due to the massive B10 TV deal, but he'll also have a significantly larger chance to make noise in the ACC going up against...pretty much just Clemson consistently.

Weird move, but yeah, always a factor for guys to go back to their 'home' school.
