Grizzlies offense was crisp, they were running sets and getting solid looks, we were just non stop iso ball. Dribble the air out of the ball and jack up a bad contested shot.

Jenkins game plan was to double Bam and collapse on him when he caught the ball, he saw how dominant this team is when he gets going. Great coaching on his part, Spo had no answer but let’s look at the main culprit for this abysmal loss, the bench:

Dedmon: 0 points on 0-5, -17 in 9 minutes!!! This is literally the difference maker right here, how do you go -17 in 9 MINUTES?! That is actually impressive.

Strus: 5 points on 1-5 shooting, -20 for the game. At least this bum played 23 minutes to get his -20

Gabe: 0 points on 0-2 shooting, -10 in 14 minutes

Highsmith: 6 points on 2-5 shooting, -4. Look at that stat line, it was by far the best we got from our bench. That is abysmal.

Vincent’s replaced when Dipo comes back, then Dipo slides to the 2 when Westbrook comes. Gabe will not see the court from that point on.

They are G-league players, what more can you expect. The better question and the real issue tonight was Butler. Dude is getting paid max money to play this pathetic and this passive? Is this what 50 mil gets you? Sure he will wake up come playoffs but this doesn't look like a playoff team so what's the point right now unless we have drastic changes.

The starters were ass but this is on the bench. They were just a literal no show, 2 of those guys are playing for their careers and contracts this summer.

Honestly mind blowing that majority of the starters were in the + on the night consider the extreme - we saw from the bench. Too many of those bum bench players on the court at the same time

You know, some say Pat Riley should retire, and I can see and understand why. The dude is just a ghost. Seating at the arena while pretending to be analyzing something lol. Just retire already, and take the Sporon with you.

Dedmon has 7 foot in length and tiny steps of a 2 year old toddler.

This guy actually kept a tally of paint passes to Dedmon and Bam

Dedmon with 8 in 9 minutes, Bam with 2 in 39 lmao! This team is so dumb

God bless I just saw Bam played 39 on a back to back, this team is really just fumbling away the season

Woy OP.

Could be the worst loss of the season.

In many TV games showing the Heat, it shows Riley with closed eyes looking into the sunset, or dreaming of it lol

And to make matters worse, Spo saw how horrible the bench was and didn’t even try to see if Duncan could give some sort of a spark. Hell Haslem should’ve played any Dedmon 2nd half minutes if we’re being real

He has a first round 6’11” skilled rookie seating at his bench. A rookie that can assist Bam with passing skills that due to his length can disrupt some of those over the top shots on defense, while freeing Bam of some of those exclusive attentions he was getting. Creating a mismatch of his own maybe?

IceColdCubano wrote:So I want somebody to answer this for me and I am done for the night, does this loss not look exactly the same as the ones from the beginning of the season? start out looking good, end up getting spanked by the end of the game. Yeah were not getting any better were exactly who we are, just had a good game, like a broken clock its right twice a day.

Yes and it’s as simple as Dedmon being that bad and our undrafted players not playing out of their ass anymore.

Lowry/Dipo
Herro/Strus
Jimmy/Martin
Bam/Brissett
Turner/Jovic

This would fix every hole on this team outside of the starting backcourt being horrible defensively but with Bam and Jimmys elite all around defense and turners elite rim protection it should cover most of it if not all of it up.
