Honestly I can't motivate myself to watch this **** team play. Hayes improved, but he is still a meh player at best (which is amazing considering where he was) but in the long term I don't see him making any difference for us.

Ivey is exciting, and we all expect him to be great, but he is awful right now, and it's painful to watch him play most of the time.

Duren is exciting but he doesn't play much, and most of the time he doesn't even touch the ball.

Bojan and Burks are great, but we won't do anything in the time they'll be here, we are still a few years away from even thinking about the playoffs.

Cade is out Stew is fine Bey is super inconsistent and most of the time terrible.

This is 100% a lost season and 100% unwatchable for me.

I was most excited about watching Duren, but even he has had some meh games lately. I know its a long grind of a season but overall the young guys still have some exciting flashes and jaw dropping athletic plays but both Duren and Ivey still play a lot of losing basketball as they're learning it in the NBA. I do wish we'd get a decision one way or the other on the Cade situation soon.

That said, Miami has struggled mightily and they rely heavily on two old vets in Butler and Lowry if they don't turn things around soon it could be a disaster for them moving forward. They've also reportedly been upset with the effort from BAM this season.

Kind of a similar situation for the Bulls..... They essentially went all-in on the Vucevic trade (like we did on Blake) and now they're going to be hoping to make the playoffs. I'd much rather be at the bottom right now than stuck in the middle with no way up.

On draft night, I was stunned we didn't draft Halliburton, but ironically, I think Killian is the guy I'll be focused on most tonight and hope he can keep it going. Ivey needs to stop with the jump-passes.

And you expected different because ???

Even if the team was healthy, they were likely a bottom 5 team. Taking into account that they've been ravaged by key injuries a good chunk of the season, they had no chance. It's essentially Bojan, Burks and a bunch of 1st-3rd year guys, that's a recipe for failure in the NBA and that's ok because this is a rebuild.

Yet, a couple of fans went crazy because we won a couple of games on the road.
(And then later will complain about lack of development)

I hard disagree with the bolded. What I will say is that he needs to have a plan before he gets into the air.

Jump passes can be the perfect outlet, and can confuse the opponent when done correctly.

As a matter of fact, Ivey is just plain out of control most of the time when he's in the air. I expect that to get a whole lot better by his 3rd, and 4th year.

It's a weapon he's capable of because of his athleticism, he just has to understand how, and when to use it.

I think Cade could be a guy who could do it, but from memory, the only guys I remember who were good at it were MJ, Kobe, and Lebron, but the defense seems to always anticipate him, and yes, I agree he is out of control. I want him to improve his defense. He might have a steal or block because of his athleticism, but his IQ isn't there, but I don't want him to be a 3-pt shooter anyway. I want him to draw fouls, and like Duren, trying to dunk everything, but establish some good footwork (like Brunson), floater, using the glass, etc.

With the Pistons being a wretched mess so much this year, my NBA viewing habits now focus on other teams much more. There's enough overachieving young teams that make up for the experience of the Pistons.

BTW, I laughed when I listened to some NBA podcast where the lead guy went absolutely off about the Pistons/Dallas game, our one shining moment. And it was just to ridicule Dallas for such a pathetic loss, Killian Hayes winning the game in overtime being the final joke on the Mavs.

Lol, I'm sure we will be losing out on his great ability to assess NBA talent and future level of accomplishments.

The guy is sitting on a million dollar career and doesn't know it.

The number one skill I think Bey needs is rebounding. For such a wide load and strong guy, he doesn't throw his butt around much. If he could be a great presence on the defensive boards, he could be a real four. If not. well, he's probably best off the bench as is.

My favorite part is the "I have no interest in this team because they suck so bad--AND I NEED TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT" thing.

No, you really don't. We don't care.

Who'd have thought that given how bad the Pistons are they're tied. Go figure.

Some of you guys' analysis sucks. And I mean like not knowing d**k about basketball.

Love the way Bey and Stewart are playing today. Bully the small lineups
