I hope we get the #5 pick, which will do absolutely nothing to improve this team, so we can fire Welt and be done with this nonsense. Maybe a new GM would suggest that it might be helpful to add shooting, you know, just to try it.

It really is unacceptable. Especially the 2pt percentages. We are just not generating good enough looks and there is no true offense installed. I watched the depleted Pacers play last night and they looked great. No Myles Turner, no Haliburton, no Duarte, no McConnell, no Theis, no problem against the Warriors at GS. I'm totally fine with 'making sure guys are 100% healthy before coming back' but not running a competent offense is a shame and a disservice to Paolo and Franz. Not that it means much but Mosley may cost Paolo the RoY award if he doesn't get him better looks.

The Wagner's were 6-7 (F) and 7-8 (M) with the 2-ball, obviously both are OUTSTANDING. But that means the rest of the team was 13-46 with the 2-ball. That is, the other eight Magicians shot 28% from INSIDE the arc. Ouch.

Sure but its not only coaching. One of the reason is the playstyle of those 2 (especially Paolo) too. When a Iso heavy player got 30% usage, it slows your offense down (22nd in pace) & kills ball movement (30th in assists). Its even worse, when he cant shoot & doesnt help the spacing or got other off ball qualities (setting screens) yet.
They are young & we dont wanna win anyway but some of this could be a problem later too. Especially the spacing/shooting part.
